Currito Cantina

This place is expensive, but you get a lot of food. Drinks are overpriced and while they taste good, they are weak.

During my delayed flight at Newark Airport terminal I ate in the Mexican restaurant Currito Cantina hours and met the manager Marie Saintel who is really sweet and help me get what I wanted for dinner and made the wait for the airplane due to wind much more bearable and the staff at the restaurant was very nice and happy and kind and it’s time somebody says something nice when they had a nice situation. I am a regular flyer at the and always love to dine at this restaurant. Thank you.

Good food and the sweetest staff. They went out of their way to make me smile when I was visibly exhausted and it meant the world.

It is the only restaurant with bar in the area. It is a small restaurant but with character. My waitress was phenomenal and I wish I had more like Karen in my hometown restaurants. Food was very good as well.

The people working here could you care less you are here no love for working here. And the girl bartender more interested in her texting phone of coarse and her nails. OMG

Great airport dinner! Fresh, flavorful Mexican food. Love the burrito bowl and the garlicky guac.

The Cantina Bowl with carnitas is excellent. I wasn't expecting anything delicious at the airport - but was totally surprised by the quality, portion size and overall taste. Sure, the restaurant is small and travelers will bump into you with their luggage. It's the airport. It happens.The dish was priced like everything at an airport - too high. However, it is probably the best dish I've had at an airport. I wish I had a Currito Cantina near me because I want to have another Cantina Bowl without having to go to the Newark Airport.

Absolute best place newark airport has to offer. I fly in and out from here twice a month and I make sure I stop here. There drinks are on point and the waitress there Iman really knows how to work her tables. I almost missed my flight she kept me there wanting more of the amazing food and drinks. A must dine in at newark airport.

I was leaving for a ski trip and needed to get some work done so I popped into Currito Cantina in the EWR terminal. The beer was cold and decently priced ($9 for a draught IPA) but the restaurant itself was BALMY. People were audibly complaining and removing layers of clothing. It was also super tight, so servers and guests alike kept bumping into me as they passed, and I was against a wall so there was nowhere I could go. I couldn’t pick up WiFi either, so I finished my beer and left. Not a great experience, but a draught beer in the airport terminal, so pick your battles.

If you're not too broken to put up with plastic forks at a sit down restaurant give it a go. If you're early enough they'll have to make the bloody mary mix and it won't taste like the poison in the United Lounge you could otherwise be in.

Visited Newarks Currito Cantina and as a lover of carnitas I have to say I had the best carnitas here. I also had the chicken quesadillas and it was amazing! My son had the cantina burrito which he liked but I didn't really care for it. Unfortunately you have to pass security to get to it. Can't wait for an opportunity to go back.

last night was the first time we came to that good restaurant. But It is definitely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the attentive service, with the great dishes and booze and with the comfortable payment. We will definitely return there in a short time.

The Curritos at the gates in Terminal A is excellent. Eating a pork burrito it's really good. I did not see it in google maps so I am leaving a review here. They have a bar and nice seating area.

The service is friendly and reasonably quick although the ingredients aren't as fresh and tasty as other Mexican fast casual restaurants. The price was understandably high given that this was an airport outlet but unless they improve their guacamole (a little chunky), beans and sour cream, they are unlikely to see an uptick in customer visits.
