Curious Dog

Looking for a off the beaten path place to eat? This place is great, not out of your average dude price range and exceptionally good. When I was working downtown I ate there several days in a row, never got bored.

Special little place with great hot dogs. Locally owned.

Tried the "Curious Dog"... Excellent! The people are friendly, and the food is really good. It is a little bit pricey, but it is probably on par with a lot of other places located downtown. The atmosphere is really cool, and it makes for a really fun experience.

The Knoxville hot dog was so amazing as were the fries but I have to give a 3 because there must be NO ventilation in the entire building. My husband and I both smelled so strongly of fryer grease upon leaving and my eyes were literally burning from how smoky the place got from cooking.

The food was amazing and the guy that runs the place was extremely nice and the food was out in no time at all. The fries are freshly cut. As in you watch him cut the potato to deep fry the fries.

I love that place. It feels so familiar and I've only ever been twice. Love their hot dogs.

Delicious sammies and hand cut fries, partner loves the hotdogs. Nice beer selection and decor. I'm surprised it's not busier.

Sticker shock will hit you here but here's three things to remember when you see the price of a hot dog combo ($11.99): 1- there are only 3 people that run the place; 2- they use the highest quality all beef hot dogs available (and Holy cow they are so delicious!); and 3- all of their ingredients, ALL OF THEM, including the kimchi, are homemade. They also cut their own fries in house. The fries are served "skin-on" and seasoned, and they are yummy too 😊 The service is wonderful! Only two of the three people were there on the day we went but they were so nice! They'll talk to you about anything! They've kept this place open by word of mouth business and it's easy to see why once you've tasted one of the hot dogs! I had the "Chicago" dog and that thing is huge! They serve their dogs on bratwurst buns because regular hot dog buns won't handle the load. One of these days, I'll try one of their sandwiches, maybe, after I get through the hot dog menu. It's worth my hot dog love visits!

Hawaiian hot dog! Best ever!

Been meaning to try this place. Didn't disappoint at all. Dog was so freaking good. Toppings were melt in your mouth delicious. Owner a rock star. Literally. Cool dude.

My mans is doin it right!! You want to go here. House made sauces, kimchi, creative sandwiches and dogs blew our minds! FANTASTIC selection of craft beer as well

Excellent food and friendly staff make this place the best hot dog joint around. While I hope to eventually make my way around the Curious world, right now I can tell you that the Boston, the Greek, and the Curious dogs are all out of this one. Also, the French fries are amazing...
