We have had better experiences before, but this recent time the food was hard to finish and the service was poor. We had our checks ready for the waiter for around 20 minutes before we had to hand them to another worker.

We were introduced to The Cummer Museum though The Tasting Tours on a culinary crawl. We sampled shrimp and grits paired with a delicious white wine. The shrimp and grits were the best I’ve ever had! Incredible! Our waitress Julian delivered first class service. We will definitely be back for a tour of the museum and more delicious dishes.

Delicious, yummmmmm.... Everything we had was extremely taisty. Definitely recommend the most beef sandwich and kale salad. The ham and chick pea soup was great to!

Awesome salad, lovely setting. Just a cafe with limited choice menu, but very fresh, great combination of flavors, color, texture. Smallish portion, but a memorable salad, which is not something I have ever said before! Nice view of garden, plenty of space between tables. Good experience, highly recommended. Well done to the staff.

Wonderful lunch of a delightful tomato bisque soup and a "Cafe Bleu" salad. Yummy!

This was the first stop on our Culinary Crawl with The Tasting Tour and boy did they set the bar high. Everything was outstanding, the food, the service, and the wine. I am really looking forward to revisiting The Café to get some more of their amazing shrimp and grits.

I had the vegan mezze platter for starters and the vegan black bean quinoa burger as an entree. Everything was delicious. The happy hour $5 wine special was well paired with my meal. Food presentation was appealing to the eye. They have a nice patio seating, but during the heat and humidity season, I prefer the air conditioned cafe. Service was professional. Since it is a fancier cafe, it is pricier.

The first thing to know is that you do not have to pay museum admission to eat at the cafe. When you walk in the museum main entrance, just let the front desk know you are going to eat at the cafe. Parking is free across the street from the museum. Lunch parking Monday through Friday usually has lots of open spaces. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. Everything on the menu is masterfully made with amazing flavors. You have your choice of soda, craft beer, domestic beer, wine, a few specialty drinks, and a good size coffee menu. I really like the Naan Flatbread as it changes daily and made with fresh ingredients.

I had the privilege of enjoying the Shrimp and Grits today while on a “Culinary Crawl” with The Tasting Tours! Wow!! The dish was delicious and the wine paired with it was a great complement! Our server, Julian, was very prompt, knowledgeable, and pleasant! I’ll definitely be back!!
