Cugino Forno Pizzeria Winston Salem

About

Please, do us a favor and stop by to try what authentic pizza is SUPPOSED to taste like with imported ingredients from Italy. And don't worry if you have limited time, as our hand-made wood burning ovens, with volcanic rock bottoms from Mount Vesuvius, cook your pizza in 90 seconds ... it's OK to say wow .. but trust me, you'll be saying it again when you take that first bite ;)

Let me start it from their first location in Greensboro. I visited that location many times during High Point market and I loved every single time. And I heard that they just opened their second location in Winston Salem. Oh boy this location as great as the other location and the pizzas are beyond delicious and authentic. And there is another great thing about this location is there is a local freshly brewed beer place attached to each other. Those who love either pizza or beer just give them a visit.

Perfect pizza, the crust, the cheese, the smell 🤤🤤🤤, it's just a mouth watering experience. The staff are really friendly and they're greeting you with a smile. Perfect place for family, friends, and after work gatherings.

Had lunch here with family and friends. Ordered three pies for eight of us. All three were great. The Lecce salad was also amazing.

Questions & Answers

I have seen partys and events held at this location

No. Italians invited gluten. The crust is made from a grain called Durum Wheat Semolina, it's the same wheat used for authentic pastas. It's high gluten, which makes the dough stretchy and pliable, which is perfect for tossing the pizza dough, and it cooks to a pleasantly chewy finish. It's awesome, but gluten rich.
