Cubaneo is one of the latest and greatest gems on Broadway in Lakeview East. The menu is no skips—everything is great, and super authentic. My partner and I have swung by a number of times since their opening and we recommend the cubano sandwich, tostones, yucca fries, and churrasco. And the best item on the menu is the croquetas, they’re absolutely fire. Inside is colorful and tidy, and staff are all very nice. We wish they would bring back the churros!!

Arroz con pollo to die for! We’re visiting from out of town and we can’t believe how fresh and delicious the food is! The black beans and rice and also the freshly made ice tea were spectacular. Cozy restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and a pleasant, welcoming environment. Can’t wait to visit again!

Fresh! Everything dish we ordered was really well presented and all around delicious. The freshness of the ingredients is remarkable. That’s immediately noticeable with the fresh salads which then barely need dressing. The other classic island dishes were perfectly seasoned. Neighborhood gem. We’ll prices for the quality.

Well executed, thoughtful dishes in a laid back and fun atmosphere. This restaurant is a fantastic addition to Lakeview East. We plan to go back soon!

Very cute place, loved the.decor , The food was very good and had authentic flavors...I had the Ropa vieja and Cuban sandwich, croquetas yuca frita and were delicious!!!

I met Felix the owner who is from Barcelona the same place as I am. He was very friendly and bubbly he had the courtesy of showing me the restaurant and the very wonderful decorations he has brought from Spain. The food was phenomenal I had a Cuban sandwich that was made to perfection, I also had the empanadas and a smoothie both wonderful. I think it's a wonderful addition to the neighborhood that will bring a very much needed international affair. Buena suerte compañero

Came here over the weekend while on vacation. The food was SO good. I didn't know how much I loved Cuban food until I came here! The Papa Rellena and Cheesy Tostones were excellent. The Cubano sandwich was also delicious. Our group ordered a number of items and shared them all - definitely the way to go! Do yourself a favor and visit Cubaneo next time you're in the neighborhood!!
