Harvard Sq., mainly it's a institution. (pun intended). Not based solely on John Harvard himself who isn't the person standing for the founder's statue in the yard. But, it's the unique form of cultural individualism. Vast array of personality in general. From eateries, workshops, sidewalk cafe's, clothing, literature, music, colors, churches, major historical sites, and a well mainained public common with equally entertaining contributions.

busy area but lots to do in a small square. Bars, restaurants, a huge bookstore (the Coop!) and you can walk on Harvard yard! If you're ever here, try Felipes!! So good.
