Loved this place we had delicious food and great service. We had the hamachi which was very tasty but small. The steak was delicious and the drinks we're awesome. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great vibe. Cozy but plenty of sitting space, trendy, good neighborhood place to hang. Drink, beer prices are fair, wines are a bit high. App/bar menu very limited. Dinner menu seems same as when it opened. Quality place but could use a refresh.

Solid food, service, & atmosphere. Great spot for friends or a place to impress a date. Staff was friendly and offered spot on recommendations. Establishment is spilt with one side for dinning & the other to tackle your favorite social spirits.

After a tough night at work, 2 friends invited me out to to is favorite spot. I thought for sure my GPS failed me. A beautiful trip through some side streets, not another soul around. What had this suburban girl gotten herself into at 11pm on a Thursday? I called my friend to meet me outside, I was at the address but there was nothing there. She popped her head out, waved me in and have me a sloppy smile that only a delicious/innovative Happy Hour can give.

1-23-2020: Nice ambiance but that is where it starts and ends. Ordered a burger for $15 with fries extra for $4. I asked for medium well. Waitress stated chef prepares ONLY medium rare or well done!! I ordered well done as waitress said it would be good. I should have ordered the soup! Server brought fries first followed by burger plate 5 mins later. He announced here's the black angus burger. Menu did not state that and it surely did not taste like Angus. Burger was dry and had limp baby leaf lettuce on the side. My Grand daughter ordered the chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and she sub fries for green beans. Chicken was good but coating was thick and not to our liking. $22 for chicken dinner. In 2014 when restaurant opened at this place it was $15. Additionally, the kangaroo drink was $12 in a glass I describe as small with about 3oz total volume. Service okay not great. Save your money and time and eat elsewhere.

Incredible ambiance. Great service. Oysters were not very good, unfortunately.

Almost. High ceiling, open space, crowded room can only make for a very noisy place. Waitress was nice, but couldn't really hear her. Food was great, cocktails fabulous, but for this price I should not have to shout to be heard. Also, the high tables with community seating is also something that does not warrant a premium price.

Unpretentious ambience. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive staff. Excellent food. Among the best dining experiences I've had in recent memory.

This place is definitely a hidden jewel......great food at reasonable price for people with sophisticated taste in Detroit's historic West Village. Sadly they will be closing their doors soon and forever, unless we can bombard them with business and convince landlord to not increase rent to a price they can't afford. A must visit place...for a meal or just a cocktail....they also have a great Happy Hour till 6pm.
