Cousins Italian Deli

Great lunch place. Salads, sandwiches, drinks, chips. Prepared quickly, friendly, and they get your order right. Tastes great. Reasonable prices. What's not to like?

I was downtown a couple of days ago I knew I wanted to eat some Italian food for lunch. I was crossing the street and with the corner of my eye I saw the word "Cousins" I kept reading and it said Italian. As soon as I hit the other side of the road I went straight there. I never been there and I already knew what I wanted. I ordered the chicken parmesan and some iced tea. I got my order in a pretty reasonable time and the staff were awesome. I have to make a other trip here. The Italian bread hero was nicely toasted and the chicken was tender and juicy which I really loved there were few bites that we're tough but that wasn't enough to be a bad experience. The place is cozy and they also have a standing area to eat. The decor gives off a sentiment of Family enjoying a meal together which in any culture is something to appreciate and preserve these days.

My blt was good but a little dry

This was a disappointment all around. The concept is good - special weekend seatings with a casual home style feeling - but the food was mediocre to poor. Appetizers were ok, but the pasta dish was blah. The main course of chicken was barely edible, like it had been around for a week and they were just getting rid of it. Terrible mealy texture. Other people told me they had same issues. I think they are just serving what they can't sell in the deli during the week.

The Family Style Dinner was excellent. The service was fantastic. The food variety satisfied a very picky family group. We got to take home the leftovers.

Good fresh made deli sandwiches.

If you like meatball sandwiches try another place. It consisted of mostly breading and little sauce. It had an almost fishy taste. Bread was good, chips were off brand disappointing. Maybe next time I'll try a standard Italian sandwich.

Great food, we were there for a private party and I must say, the staff did a fantastic job.

Never got a chance to try the food. Placed an order 30 minutes in advance for pick up. I arrive and I have the wait in the same line as everyone who is ordering. 15-20 minutes I finally arrive at the counter to only find out it's not even made. Terrible experience. Recommendation and advice: When a customer orders a to-go order, have it ready and have a separate line they can come to, bypassing customers who have not ordered yet. A very simple request and process. Look forward to eventually trying your food.

Great lunch spot. Super friendly employees with great deli and Italian offerings. Specials every day. They also do a family style Italian Dinner on the weekends. I haven't been able to make it, but people rave about it!

Our wine club reserved an evening family style dinner. It's consistently good food, plentiful, fresh and served hot from the kitchen. The staff is efficient and friendly. Great for a group looking to celebrate together in a casual relaxed atmosphere.

Always great. I just had them cater a party at my house for the first time. The food was unbelievable. Cooked to perfection. People were looking up Cousins Deli while they were eating. As always, the portions were plentiful and we have been enjoying the leftovers all weekend. When we have visitors to Wilmington, we love to bring them to dinner on Friday or Saturday night. You can't go wrong. Thank you Cousins for making our party such a success!

I brought in a valid Save30 gift certificate. They refused to honor it. They said they had too many people reusing certificates. There is a unique code on each certificate. Every other establishment that uses Save30 gift certificates, validates them by the code. The owner showed no compassion that I was out $20. He told me to take it up with Save30. I own a bakery and I would never treat a customer this way. No only was it wrong, but rude.
