This is a favorite of mine, right down from Rush. Jowal the store owner is great, he is acommodating. This is a great place for sit down. Ive never seen anyone else in the back, and I feel that he runs this place solo.Being that, it is great. So dont be in a rush, immerse yourself in the food and culture. Take the time to speak and get transported to a different place.

The spot is fantastic and spacious, the food was enchanting and the prices were very reasonable. rapidly, productive service and very friendly staff. Will definitely recommend this place.

The veggie plate is sooo rich I love it. It’s got at least 10 different food items. Hot and cold with both Hummus and Baba Ganoush. The falafel is hot and made there. Would come back again for the veggie plate.

This is literally my favorite restaurant on Taylor. I can't get enough of their chicken shawarma pita sandwich! Truly delicious. Jowal is also very kind and would sneak me some samples of his freshly made falafels in my orders! It seems as if he does all the cooking and work himself! I come back every week. :)
