Country Cookin'

Not a bad little spot if you are looking for something quick and easy. Food is decent and staff are very polite. Restaurant is clean and not to crowded. I personally prefer the breakfast and brunch to their dinner options but that's just me.

food was not very good at all, service was pretty good. It is kind of a buffet only no meat on the bar. You order that separate, it was over 9.00 for a grilled chicken breast I chose no side because all they offered was French fries, baked potatoes or sweet potatoes. You did get a trip to the salad bar. not impressed most likely will not return.

Delicious comfort food. All you can eat buffet with salad bar, vegetables and a dessert bar. Homemade roll and honey butter are amazing! Order an entree and the bar comes free with it. I personally fill up on the bar alone. One of my favorite places to go. Especially if you like a quiet family atmosphere.

It was okay. The food was good. You choose your meat and that is made-to-order and you get normal buffet options for your sides. There should have been someone tidying up the buffet because it looked a bit messy. By the time our meat finally made it to us, we were full from eating the sides.

We have gone here for years when passing thru. It has gone down a bit. Restaurant looks rather run down. Needs a remodel.Food is not bad though. Some good stuff on the buffet.

Very friendly and courteous service, family oriented with a wonderful salad bar that is included with your meal. The salad bar offers salads as well as vegetables, desserts, dinner rolls, mac & cheese, and many other selections. Also kids can eat at the salad bar for free which is a money saver. Prices are great on lower budgets!

Sirloin was more than expected, cooked just like I like it. Staff was nice and smiling. Just overall a comfortable atmosphere!

Burgers and fries got rave reviews, but I was not impressed with their salad bar. Very basic and plain for the price.

Been going there for 40+ years when we are in Frednecksburg. Always good, fresh and exceptional service. If you’ve never eaten there before you order your main course and all of your salad vegetables and dessert or all you can eat from the bar. They also have an ice cream machine and any toppings that you might want to put on it. In the 40+ years I’ve been going there I’ve had one bad experience and I’ve never seen that server there again. A lot of college women used to work there as servers from Mary Washington across the street so the scenery used to be very good but now it seems like it’s just local women.

Food and Service was excellent. Oh the deserts are good too.

Great place to eat after church services !

Food was delicious wish there was one closer to my house again.
