Wow is all i can say what a fantastic place, no wait time, hostess was a real treat, drinks were good, food was outstanding... absolutely the best!!🌮🌮🍹🍹🍽🍴

I really enjoyed it! The service was excellent, the food was good and the drinks strong. A little overpriced, but that's Coronado. The live band was AWESOME! We had a great time and will be back!

Mexican Village Cocina & Cantina has some of the friendliest staff that are only topped by their delicious Mexican cuisine. This is a great family restaurant. There is a nice outside patio and the inside is bright with lots of interesting decorations. The bar area has a number of large screen TV which are great for watching a game while you enjoy a drink along with some of their fresh, homemade guacamole.

Visited this place and loved it. Good service and great live music. Reasonable prices. Very nicely decorated and huge bar!

We were here off-season and had a great time. I can only imagine that during peak time it is even more of a wonderful and vibrant atmosphere

Went on a weeknight. Good experience. Got the Machaca bowl and was pleasantly impressed. Don’t expect traditional Mexican food here though. It’s a more modern twist. The tortilla chips are seasoned and freshly made. Salsa passes my “I’m from New Mexico” test. The $3 Mexican lager draft was a nice addition too. Very cool environment.

Only been open for a week so some hiccups are to be expected. Not a very wide selection of beers on tap. Entrees were huge and should be split if possible. Also the presentation is nice but the boards they serve on are too big for the table. Food was flavorful and the options were much more traditional than other Mexican restaurants on the island. Hopefully this will stick around as the space has been haunted by other restaurants that have come and gone.

There were 16 of us and Murphy our server handled it like a champ . Super polite and no mistakes on any of our orders . Didn’t think to grab a photo on this one but I’ll be returning so I’ll grab one then .

Prices were between $13-$15 but the food was yummy. :)

Located on Coronado Island, I stopped by here the other night (my 1st time), on my way home. I had walked passed the restaurant, and the smell brought me in. What I like about this place is that they offer bowls as an alternative to burritos. If you don't want to deal with tortillas, you can still get all of the fixings in a bowl. I ordered the pollo asado bowl. It was absolutely amazing! Full of flavor and freshness. The service could have and should have been better. I seated myself, and wasn't greeted until 4 minutes later.

Our first time in this restaurant and we will be coming back for more! Their molcajete fajitas are awesome! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable when guiding us through the menu.

The food is excellent! The employees are nice too.

Taco Tuesday didn’t disappoint. Wash these tacos down with a Modelo or a margarita and you’ll be good to go.
