Cornerstone Tavern

Cornerstone is basically just for college students. If you aren’t in college you probably will feel like you don’t fit in. However, if you’re looking for dancing, relatively expensive drinks, and fireplaces outside you might like it. It’s also a good place to bring big groups because there is a lot of space to spread out, especially on any day but the weekend.

Female patron threw her drink on a fire and they walked me out even though I had evidence and witnesses saying she did it. Not a great crowd to be around. Would avoid if you want an nice and easy evening.

Best bar on Glenwood, probably in Raleigh in general. Clean and super nice. Bartenders are fast, good music, very well ran!

Great bar with good music playing. Security is very friendly and helpful. They do a good job keeping the bar and its patrons stafe.

Huge multi building bar with many atmospheres. Can be a long line during certain times and security could be more fair than allowing cute girls to skip the line.

Came from Jersey to visit NC. Got turned down for ripped jeans by one of the Security guards, wasted $15 ubering there since they were the only place open at the time. Website isnt specific enough on dress code.

Stopped in after Sunday brunch for a few drinks. Outdoor seating is wide and comfy, music was great! Staff and patrons were all friendly, loved the fact you can even bring your dog! Right on the corner so you see all the Glenwood action. Drinks were yummy. Prices decent. Will definitely go back.

This bar is constantly overcrowded on the weekends which is already bad enough. On top of that, the crowd is all college students, which let's be honest, can be a headache. My biggest complaint is the bouncing. Me and multiple friends have horror stories with the bouncers. They look for excuses to act overly aggressive with people. I almost got kicked out for not standing directly in line for the bathroom. A friend was refused entry because the bouncer insisted he had intentionally blown cigar smoke in his face. The bouncers just make it uninviting. Maybe it's the customer base they deal with, but they definitely don't talk to people with any level of decency.

It's a really good place to dance. The crowd is mostly students. Friday and Saturday nights are crazy but sometimes it gets too crowded. Overall, it's a really good place to go to if you wanna have some fun.( after 11pm though)

As long as you are diligent, you should be ok but always be wary of parking on the streets. Be sure to verify they are open before visiting. A great little tavern, good grub and pints.

Do you want bartenders that know what they're doing? This is the place for you. It can get pricey, but these guys and gals know how to make a drink!

Went on New year's Eve, great music and great management. Beautiful decorations!!

Staff was professional, courteous and on point. Food was amazing and prices were very reasonable. NC brew discount was great. Will definitely be coming back.

Great atmosphere on the weekends! Multiple houses and patio bars with a different DJ in each house. Lots of patio seating around fire pits and great music/drinks. This is a busy bar on the weekends and lots of fun any night of the week! My favorite place to go!
