While it is a nice social setting, and the crowd is very upbeat and friendly, the establishment needs a deep cleaning. The floor around the bar and the floor behind the bar and the actual bar top was dirty all around. The table tops were sticky and this is clearly because they're not being cleaned with the proper agents. All around and gave the feel of a place that was just wiped down with the wet cloth.

Great atmosphere. Good music. Not many gentrifiers. Their shrimp n grits are spectacular

I’ll start by saying that the music and drinks were great, which is why this isn’t getting 1 Star. My boyfriend and I went to Corner Social for brunch, and after getting halfway through our meals we were asked to move to the other side of the restaurant. I have never been asked to move after already being seated and served. We didn’t get the full 1.5 hours of bottomless mimosas as promised. The hostess was extremely rude. While we were finishing our mimosas, the hostess came up to our table and told us that we need to leave. I noticed that no one else was asked to leave or forced to switch tables in order to accommodate other guests. We were there for less than 1.5 hours. I recommend going to another restaurant for brunch where you can get cheaper bottomless mimosas, good food and a kind staff.
