Cornbread

FABULOUS!!! FANTASTIC!!! Food was delicious! Party of 8, and everyone loved the food!! They need a better way to get your meal up to the 2nd floor. Other than that, no complaints.

Food was very good and the service was great.They do cook things fresh and this does take some time so if you are in a rush I would highly recommend you order before going in.

Trudy was friendly and attentive. Love the special juice drink. The food was seasoned well and tasty. Nice seating are upstairs.Please consider adding baked fish to the menu. Would definitely return.

This place is down home cooking at its finest! The right on the countryside feel to the place draws you in, the decor is classic and jazzy, and don't forget to step out on the balcony for some good pics. The food is the best part of the place, no complaints what so ever! You are gonna eat your cornbread! Lol

I went to this restaurant a couple months..and I ordered 2 sides they were amazing and mouth watering!...and the staff were nice as well.

Very cute place. Upstairs looks like a nice place to give a small private affair but not sure if they do that. Mac n cheese and collard greens were fantastic...however..did not like the Whiting. It taste and smelled fishy. The cornbread is way too sweet. But i will give it another chance and try something else. The staff was very hospitable.

I had a really nice experience here and the service was very welcoming. I was greeted by a manager by the name of Rios who was so polite and well spoken. He pointed out some items I should try as I was not certain on what to order. I must say the ribs are delicious and well flavored. The corn bread was moist and the mac and cheese was yummy. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Chicken is great. Not greasy at all. Mac and cheese was fantastic. Nice staff. Beautiful place and people.

Ordered on line & picked up at the time they told me. I got home 5 minutes later to eat and the Mac & cheese didn’t taste fresh. There’s no way it should taste like that if it was baked the same day. Fried chicken didn’t taste fresh either. To top it off they forgot my CORNBREAD

I live about an hour away from Maplewood, but the food at Cornbread is worth the drive. I love the fish, chicken, turkey wings and oxtails. The collard greens and macaroni & cheese is the “bomb” (aka delicious). And finally the cornbread....This is the best cornbread I’ve ever had. Finally the service is great. It’s cafeteria style, but the staff is wonderful, especially “Victor”. He made the night out with my girlfriend even better.

My first time eating from the establishment in Maplewood. I ordered my food off Doordash. 1. I've always heard AMAZING reviews about the food so I wasn't as skeptical as I should've been. 2. The food was HORRIBLE!!! The mac & cheese was like a pie. The Turkey wings are basic & dry w/ spots of Sazon all over. The Yams are nothing special, tastes canned. The Peach Cobbler was the same that you'd buy from the Chicken Shack. SMH. $45 WASTED. OH... And on top of it all... MY ENTIRE HOUSE HAS BEEN SICK ALL WEEK after eating here. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!

Decent size servings well worth the price give this place great value. Don’t expect or compare this to authentic southern cooking. But it’s still worth a drop by every now and then.
