The house made chocolates were really good but a little pricey (to be expected in such a tourist driven area). I found something I've never seen before: chocolate covered gingerbread bites. They are covered in both white and dark chocolate and are delightfully crunchy and completely delicious. The bookstore combo is pretty great. They had lots of great titles at reasonable prices for used books. I could have spent even more time perusing books but my family was ready to go.

Service animals were clearly not welcome, as the woman behind the counter came and asked me what disability I had (which is illegal for businesses to ask service dog handlers), told me that I wasn't allowed in part of the store because I had my dog with me and there was food there, I was told that I couldn't go too close to the other customers in the store because there were children, and I was scoffed at when I explained that I needed my dog or I may risk losing conciousness and hurting myself by falling. I tried explaining the ADA laws and was scoffed at again. If you have a disability that requires a service dog, just know you're going to be treated badly in this establishment.
