This place is awesome , rad hole and n the wall neighborhood restaurant. Great place for a quite evening with your significant other. Awesome menu and frequently changed items on the menu also. I love eating at cooks for breakfast, best eggs Benedict I have had in my life.

In the lower proctor area in Tacoma years ago I think it used to be a laundromat not sure about that. About two blocks from where my great grandma lived interesting. I had the pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes is very good tasting. My wife had The Italian dish forget what the name was she enjoyed it.

Really really good food. I was even impressed by the pickles. The staff was very friendly, I took my four year old child and still felt welcomed. Parking was difficult to find but eventually we found it. I think that's why it was empty, because there is no where to really park. Either way I would go again to try more of their food.

Great menu staples and I really appreciate the rotating portion of the menu. Staff has always been welcoming and down to earth. One of my go to breakfast spots

Great place! Originally I was trying to go to Brewer's Row and entered the wrong door, but I have zero regrets! They have a great atmosphere and a reasonable menu

Came here because they are open late.Service was friendly and quick, food was underwhelming. Came during the New England menu. Had the crab stuffed scrod and the lobster clam chowder. Clam chowder was tasty but grainy. For the scrod dish, the fish (halibut?) was dry, the crab cakes tasted un-fresh. The scrod plate was significantly enhanced by some delicious broccolini and succotash. If I could go back in time, definitely would have ordered the plate without the fish. Decor is pleasantly quirky, and I understand they change it often. There was a large model of a covered bridge hanging in the middle of the room. There's a lot of menu besides the specials, if we ever come back we'll probably try some of the more tried and true menu items.

The salmon sandwich was delicious. Their service is excellent, however, they really don't have any vegetarian choices. Which is my other preference.

Every time we come here, the service is awesome and their food is great. Every month they have a theme that changes their menu. We even asked for a cocktail that was taken down from their menu and recreated it for my husband--old Cuban. Cool place to chill and have coffee. I love their beignets and they add different toppings every month with it.

Cubano sandwich was excellent. Good service and pleasant atmosphere !

I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing dinner menu! I have been maybe a dozen times for breakfast, but have never thought about it as a dinner spot...and I was wrong. I'll be back again soon for dinner. Look forward to the next creative theme!

Food was good and I have nothing but great things to say about the Sea serpent Sunday. I'm going to have to try here when it's not so busy. But long wait for everything. But like I said they were super busy and looked like they were short staffed. If you haven't eaten here definitely worth checking out.

This has some of the best cocktails, food and service I have ever enjoyed in Tacoma. I have never ordered anything here that I didn't love. They have a fun, varied menu so it almost seems like a different restaurant whenever we treat ourselves by going here. The service has always been on point, which is something that most places in Tacoma can't seem to get right. We most recently went out for the family fried chicken dinner on a Sunday, and it really knocked our socks off. I have never had better fried chicken. Be sure to always order a cocktail when you come to Cook's Tavern because they are expert mixologists and they do not disappoint.
