Cook's Boathouse Restaurant

We go all the time!!! It's very reasonable in there prices but thier food is very good quality!!!!! We order takeout a lot... Best place in bean station to eat. Very clean... Thier BATHROOMS ARE ALWAYS CLEAN!!!!BTW#IAmVeryPickie!!!!!

Not very busy when we went in and it was seat yourself. We thought about sitting on the deck but since we were riding the MC, decided on inside with the A/C. We had a nice view of the Marina and lake. We were greeted right away and the server brought our drinks quickly. I think she knew we were hot and she gave us some time to look over the menu. Once our order was taken, the food arrived quickly and was very, very tasty. I had the Grilled Chicken Wrap with fries and my husband had the Pier Wrap with fries. Very, very good. Our drinks were refilled as needed. It was very clean and well set up. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5, was once our server refilled our drinks and set down the check, we didn't see her again. She didn't ask if we needed anything else and we had to get a to-go box from another server. We will return though, the food was good and the prices were fair.

Four of us visited the restaurant . Stephanie our waitress was very professional and friendly. We all had different things ordered from the menu and there was no complaints. Seafood and burgers were excellent. There was quite a few folks there yet service was great. Will be back for sure.

Terrific restaurant! Plenty of food, and it was nice and hot. Fried okra was delicious and so was my fish. My wife got a ribeye and it was so good that I wanted to trade. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the lakeview. Nice place.

We had the all you can eat catfish ~ was good, pretty standard fare with what tasted like bagged fries and hushpuppies. Cornmeal breading on the catfish ~ a little heavier than I like but quality if the fish was good and flaked nicely. Great service, pretty view of the lake. When we asked for lemon they didn't have any and the grilled catfish was a tad too salty and not as flaky as the grilled. Good food just nothing that stood out as great.

My family and I happened upon Cook's Boathouse while traveling through the area and were quite pleased. Our food was perfectly cooked and very delicious. The menu reminded me of the good ol' home cooked meals I grew up with. My husband and daughter shared the fried pickles and had great things to say about them. I had the swiss garden chicken with green beans and a fresh crisp side salad. The chicken was wonderful. I would definitely order it again. They had a nice kids menu with great choices for picky children. Our little one got the cheeseburger slider and really enjoyed it. She loved that it was served on a sweet dinner roll! The staff was kind and courteous. The restaurant was super clean including the restroom. If in the area, we will for sure be back!!
