literally one of my favourite fast food places i’ve ever been to, the thought of the cookout tray brings tears to my eyes. in times of great hardship i stop to think about cookout’s hush puppies and it brings me peace. the fact that where i live doesn’t have one of these supreme tier burger establishments is something i will never come to terms with, as nothing in this world rivals the simple burger and shake that i had here at 3am four years ago

UPDATE: Disappointed on my most recent trip. Ordered a double burger, and while I did get 2 patties, each burger was only 1/2 patty. Deduct 1 star...Good food at reasonable prices. Got a Rodeo burger at BK that cost nearly $7. Comparable burger at Cookout around $4. Fries have been fresh every time. Lots of things on the menu for me to try next time.

Cookout is one of the few places where I can still feed a fairly large group for a reasonable price. Trying to feed 6 people in a budget can get pricey quick, but there trays all being one price make it easy for everyone to chose what they want without going overboard. The food is good quality and the milkshakes are delicious. Always have a good visit there.
