I always have a good experience going to this Collectivo. Even when they are in the heart of the morning rush, they are always courteous and pleasant. Everything is always fresh, both food and beverages. Thanks for making it a good morning.

Great location for after a run or walk. Beautiful building repurpose of old Lake Michigan pump house. Better bakery than coffee.

This place is great. We were visiting from out of state and went for coffee and breakfast and it was very memorable. Fun employees, great food and coffee, awesome view of the lake, and excellent decor. We were there when the temps were cold so we sat inside but I bet the outdoor seating is awesome too. If your in the area definitely stop here!

I've lived in Milwaukee my entire life, visited this Colectivo growing up, and it was until I had a drink with a new Milwaukeean that I sat outside. It's calm, inviting, and everyone is mindful of their space. It really is a beautiful place to wind down.

A Milwaukee Institution. A wonderful place for regulars to get their favorite caffeine fix and a delight for visitors of MKE to get tasty munchables along with expected (and not) caffeinated drinks. In the summer they serve beer and the occasional live music on the patio ... all right across the street from Lake Michigan. Milwaukee's lakefront is *way* better than Chicago's, hands down. This is just one of the many reasons.

The location (on the lakefront) and the architecture (an old pump house) make this a Colectivo that everyone in Milwaukee should visit, not least for the outdoor concerts in summer, but there are actually other Colectivos that offer better spaces for work and conversation.

Oooh I love their tea selection. Sadly I love out of town. Very good jasmine tea! I haven't had the chance to try their other teas. They had good food and espresso drinks too!!

This is one of my favorite places to go on a weekend morning in Milwaukee. An expansive patio in the summer and extensive seating inside as well.

Colectivo Cofgee Lakefront is a perfect place for me to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee along with a perfectly toasted sesame seed bagle with lushes whipped creamy cream cheese and. I just live up the hill on Summit. Also a perfect way to start your day as you watch the sunrise up over the lake.😊☕🌞

Very charming! In an old pumping station with most of the architecture intact. Excellent hot chocolate and mocha, and excellent service.

Awesome coffee, wait times were a bit up there but we also went during prime time. Only been to this location once but the whole area is beautiful. Easily once of the best coffee shops to visit with friends 🙂

The BEST place in Milwaukee to hangout for a coffee or a beer. The concept of converting an old water pump station into a coffee shop is really amazing. Great ambiance and always lively.

Questions & Answers

its a coffee house

Hmmm you must not have had your coffee yet, because I always have friendly greetings at this establishment. Unless you are one of those people from the 50s who need the exact phrase "Thank you, and you are welcome" to be satisfied.

There are two large restrooms that nearly everyone would consider a "family bathroom". Both have changing tables, soap, and hot and cold running water that may be controlled manually and separately. The building is also a landmark, that you should find quite interesting.

Hi Claudio, I found this description on their website: "Our name was inspired by the artful and funky buses used for public transportation across Latin America, “colectivos” (co-lec-TEE-vo), and the iconic part of everyday life they represent." Definitely yes you are right

yes for both

There is a small parking lot outside and there is another parking lot right across the street at McKinley Marina.
