Cold Stone Creamery

First off, the staff at this store are fine - nice kids working hard. In fact, a Cold Stone Location in Phoenix was where I had my first summer job in high school in 1996. But that fact only increased my disappointment when I discovered this new "innovation" of theirs: SOME OF COLD STONE'S RECIPES ARE DESIGNED TO NOT MELT. My fiance and I got medium ice creams in July, and by the time we got to the bottom of our cups we felt nauseated and mucousy. It appeared our ice cream wasn't melting, so we went home and looked it up. It's true. I don't know what flavors they do it with, and maybe they can tell you, but we're never rolling that dice again. Gross.

Fantastic choice of ice-cream with huge amount of toppings!! For vegans there is a non-dairy strawberry sorbet - mmmmm, yummy!!:) Convenient parking within 20 meters. I definitively recommend this place for having a dessert!

Mediocre ice cream at best and I was stunned that they charged OVER $6.00 for a medium cup with a tablespoon of graham cracker added. I could've bought a half gallon of good ice cream at my local grocery store for THAT! (Or 3 half gallons on a sale!!!) No wonder the place was dead - evidently everyone else has figured out what a rip off Cold Stone is. I don't mind paying a little more for something special, but THIS place is NOT it. Le$$on learned as I will NEVER come back, nor will I let anyone I consider to be a friend come to this place...P.S. What do they charge for a cake, $100.00???

Courtney is a great employee. She is so kind and patient. Her dedication to her work is admirable and you can tell she enjoys working here and with people!

I had gotten introduced to Cold Stone Creamery by my and I so love the ice cream. I would love to see that the Marshmallow flavored ice cream would come back and stay permanently. Other than that it is well worth the money to get the ice cream. I wish that they would have the reusable containers again that one bring in to get it refilled with one's favorite ice cream.

I love cold Stone and these girls were great, the chocolate ice cream wasn't as chocolatey as Ive gotten at other locations though.

I'm addicted haha. Though I have gained a new allergy recently, and almost all their ice cream have gluten in it, so now I can't go as often. But still a great place

The ice cream they served me was soft and clearly not properly refrigerated. I asked them why it was like that, they said that it's because all their ice cream is hand-made which has nothing to do with it. Overall dissatisfied.

The coupons they have in one of the Savings Booksare intentionally worded to be confusing.Which, of course, ends up being MORE EXPENSIVEFor the consumer in the end.They have good ice cream, no doubt, but they are ONEOF THE HIGHEST PRICED PLACES in Tucson.It is NOT a good value or a good place for the family toGo for an ice cream cone and not end up bankrupt.

Ok, I don't disagree with tipping, but tipping for counter service is absurd... this has to stop.If it's in your job description to serve ice cream, should not be expected to leave a tip.Now this company pays thier employee below minimum wage so they are forced to ask for tips ... for again counter service... ever been to a McDonald's that had a tip jar?Same type of service ... Carl's Jr even brings your food to your table.... yet they have no option for tip at check out... as it should be... there is no reason to tip for counter service... I will never come back and give money to a company that charges a tip for counter service and pays thier employees less than minimum wage to boot.I can't recommend this place for thier unethical treatment of employees... they are relying on the customer to pay the employees wage by way of tip... and still charge full price.. don't come here.

Great flavor, great service, live this place. Chocolate dipped waffle cones... not wonderful. The chocolate they use is sort of wierd tasting. Avoid it. Regular waffle cone is legit though.
