Cohen's Bagel Company

This place was a pleasant find. I visit the area frequently and was in the mood for a good bagel and took a shot a Googling for a bagel place. To my surprise, Cohen's was listed and had good reviews so we tried it. There we so many interesting options that we wound up getting a baker's dozen (a generous 14 here). Some were hot from the oven, and they were excellent -- crisp exterior, chewy interior, with good flavor. They also do sandwiches and coffee, with limited seating.

Best bagel around the Shoreline. However needs to step up the coffee game. Don’t even bother requesting a cappucino, mocha, or specialty coffee: “machine is broken” is the generic answer given for basically 2 years now. Just take it off the menu!

Great bagels, bagels are 5 Star for sure. However, on the weekends their inventory is managed horribly! Out of plain bagels at 9am....how? This is not a one time occurrence and is even worse in summer months when not much is available after 9am. This should be managed so bagels (especially basic plain) are available. They need to do a better job on inventory control! But bagels are excellent, cream cheese is superb, can’t go wrong with a bacon habanero bagels!
