A highly rated community college with and excellent reputation and high completion and transfer rates. Academic calendar is quarter based. Excellent history and anthropology departments. Most departments here are very good. This is a large school with over 20,000 students, including a large percentage of foreign students. One of the best community colleges in California.

An Excellent college ! I do agree with the other student in a previous review; attending De Anza College does feel like "being at a university" & the campus is beautiful as well as relaxing. To have the staff, the teachers, counselors, and other departments like the VA, the disability services, and many other accessible services which aid in a students success. Everyone including the students show & make you feel like you matter - to care about you succeeding in what you want to aspire in is just as important to you as it is for those at De Anza. This is why a student should attend De Anza college. I GIVE an A+ grade for De Anza College & its educational values. I highly recommend attending this fine college!

Extremelly unorganized staff. Not enough classes for all students studying the same subject.
