No, security begins guiding all patrons toward exits at 5:45pm.
If it's your first time here, expect to spend the whole day (from open to closing) perusing the exhibits and you'll still find something that you haven't had the chance to see the next time you come here.
If you have been here and come with a certain plan of shows you want to see, typically you'll spend a few hours here.
Its very challenging to park near the Museum. Street parking is available in certain areas nearby, but is in high demand. Always try to make the last few miles to the museum by foot or subway.
Take the B or the C train from 59th Street Columbus Circle station to 81st Street station if you don't want to walk
$23 for adults, but that's only a suggested amount. You can pay whatever you think is fair.
