Cody's Irish Pub & Grille

I believe me and my beautiful wife Maria had dinner here before the drive-in one night. It was pretty good if I recall correctly.

Needed a last-minute 8:30 p.m. dinner spot for 7 people including my elderly mother-in-law and they promised they'd keep the grill open...they did!...and served a wonderful meal in this cheerful pub-restaurant. Desserts made it feel like a big party. We loved our funny and clever waiter who bent over backwards to make us happy.

Good food, good beer, and good service. I came here for lunch this past Saturday, and got the "codys mushrooms." They were really good, the ranch they come with is made in house which was also really good. The mushrooms were really big and the dish came with a lot of them. As far as beer goes, their draft list isn't very long but they have some really good beers on tap. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to grab a quick bite to eat, or to go out and have a few drinks with friends.

Solid beer list. Friendly staff and management who check on you just enough without being intrusive. Typical.pub fare with good porions for the prices.

Cody's staff are the greatest. Always making sure everything is the way you want it. Food is great and the place is clean.

This is my go-to place to meet friends for lunch/dinner in Essex. Its proximity to the Essex Outlets is also nice. They have a good menu of food with a nice selection of beers on tap. An added bonus is a kids menu with some healthy options that includes a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Even my very picky grandson ate most of his burger and said it was the best.

Amazing service, great atmosphere, wonderful food and amazing beer selection. It really feels like home very time we come here. Thanks to Kevin, Chris and the rest of the staff for the continued consistent and stellar customer service. Stop by for lunch or dinner, grab a pint, watch the game and relax!
