Coda di Volpe

Our friends live in the neighbourhood--lucky them! Waiter recommended the passionfruit spritzer as less sweet than the Aperol spritzer and strangely enough he was correct! Service perfect, weather perfect, company perfect. Food was very good. We shared the special pizza-great thin crust and spicy peppers. Others had pastas which they enjoyed but I thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully prepared octopus and a divine heirloom tomato salad. Everything was very fresh and simply prepared. Easy to take vegetarians here.

While visiting family in Chicago, we selected this restaurant mainly by accident since it was located close to our accommodations. This casual but well designed restaurant prepared excellent food served by an extremely attentive staff. Our group of three shared an appetizer, pasta, and pizza, and splurged on an additional gelato and sorbet for dessert. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Put this restaurant on your list of places to eat in the Lakeview area !!

Brunch and dinner both excellent. Grilled octopus was sublime. Branzino very tasty. Husband's pasta was superb.
