Cheap, tasty and very filling. Easy to order and customise system, add what you want and how spicy you want it. Love it. Use the bell to attract waiters, if there's no bell (you're on the bar for example) a good wave and a "sumimasen" will work.

Perfect meal for such cold weather. Most importantly. Can customise everything. From the curry base, spicy level, rice portion and of course the toppings.

If you like curry, rice and some deep fried meat, this is the place in Kyoto....taste really good....

The menu is actually not that easy to understand, hard to figure out the price for the different combinations and how to combine stuffs. But the price is pretty reasonable so the easier way to get the stuffs you want is just point to the ingredients you want to the server. Four of us get exactly what we want. There’re free refill pickles and tea too.

Menu of numerous curry variations at this chain. Personalized by spice, protein, heat and amount of rice. Came out fast. We had chicken & vegetable curry + a spinach curry with a fried chicken cutlet. Big carafe of chilled water on table. Already planning return to this location.

1 kara beef with karaage, normal beef with hamburg.Awesome, but pretty spicy for Japanese, even it would be 1kara.

Friendly staff with English menus. We were taking our orders on a Shinkansen. Their take out containers separate the curry and the rice. The tonkatsu (pork cutlet) was still crispy even after 1h.

Easy to read menus with a multitude of languages. English, Spanish, Russian, etc. Good curry, good prices! They let you customize your order (rice amount, spice, seasoning). You need to press the buzzer when you're ready to order. You pay at the counter by the entrance.
