This place is not only for gluten allergic people. I went to this place and got their signature sourdough It was very delicious. Pastries are also great looking I would totally recommend. Owners are very sweet too. YOU MUST TRY.

My first time to try this bakery, I got the sourdough loaf and the owner invited me to try the cranberry-orange muffin / cupcake. The cupcake was delicious- a perfect balance of texture and fresh flavors, not overly sweet. It seemed impossible that it was gluten free. But it is! The sour dough bread is superb, the texture is lovely, reminds me of a traditional Portuguese cornbread, and then you have the sourdough flavor. Other commercial GF 🥖 breads tend to be rice based, crumble, and don’t taste so great. This bakery has really got it all figured out. With butter it’s like a miracle. Highly recommended 😊

OMG!! Finally a gluten free bakery that isn’t overly sweet, I have been to all of them and this one takes the cake !! Pun intended :) amazing customer service got some free treats as they were just closing and the owner is super sweet! My husband who isn’t allergic to gluten couldn’t stop talking about the chocolate liquor cake , absolutely recommended!! Can’t wait to go back ...!

Cock-A-Doodle-Doo is the first gluten free bakery that I consider to have healthy ingredients. I am a registered nutritionist and was diagnosed with celiac disease about 25 years ago so I have tried quite a few bakeries. Not only are their baked goods packed with nutritional goodness without fillers like corn and soy; everything I have tasted is delicious. My family members have various food preferences and restrictions (dairy and eggs too). Cock-A-Doodle-Doo was a big success with everyone; even the ones who think gluten free doesn't taste good. They were definitely proven wrong!

Great sourdough bread with a delicious, chewy texture. They've really succeeded in making bread that you want to eat a lot of. I also got a couple of muffins, a cupcake and cookies - all of them scarfed down happily!

I went there for the first time. It's nice, and clean. I bought the chocolate cupcake (vegan), the orange and cranberry muffin, and the pear and plum danish. First time there, it was delicious, and it felt hearty. My stomach is very sensitive. I don't want things that are super sugary, and it was the perfect blend. I will definitely be going back and recommend this bakery to my friends as a great bakery.

Wow! This place is worth the drive. Ordered their sourdough and ordered there rye-less bread and they were delicious! I couldn't believe it was gluten free. Also bought cookies and brownies. Recommend this place for anyone, even if you can eat gluten.

The bread and pastries are of an amazing quality. Hand crafted and definitely made with love and a lot of attention to the taste regardless of whether it's a sourdough bread, blueberry pizza or brownie. Everything tastes really great. I wish they had a location up in Newmarket.
