This is an interesting spot. It seems to be well set up to watch sports, which isn't surprising given its location. It is showing its age with wear and tear. I had the smoked chicken. It out was OK, nothing special.

No ribs when I came which was the reason I wanted to go. Plus, this place is meant more for an older crowd. Anyone 30 and under, like myself, probably won't like it as much. Cool live band though, and strong drinks!

Waited over 1/2 hour and all we got was a menu. Two tables next to us had already left due to NO SERVICE. When a table that was seated after us were served before us, we decided to leave as well.

My wife and I stopped here before the Wings game on Saturday, April 1st. It was busy but they found us a table within 10 minutes. Ordered the chicken tenders and potatoe skins, both were excellent. The service was great and the price is always reasonable. Great place to go before an event!

I'm not sure why this place has so many good reviews. The food was acceptable but the service was terrible. In town for a conference and they are right next to the center so you'd think they would get a lot of business and cater to it. Well, they had one server there who looked like she was on drugs. Very slow to respond on anything and there wasn't any other help in sight. Maybe it's a place for nights only?

Was in town for the Auto Show in January, stopped in for "linner". Place was packed(good sign) got seated right away. Received food quickly, great service, great food, cool local bar atmosphere .Would definitely go back.

The drinks are delicious however the food is over priced. Nice spot to go to after work for drinks.

We spent a week in Detroit and our first night we went to Cobo Joe's. They were great. We went there three more times (a group of 15 of us) and they were wonderful. The service was great and the food was excellent. Great beer selection and welcoming atmosphere. Not much to look at from the outside, but inside is a different world. On my next trip to Detroit will definitely be going back to Cobo Joe's!

Poor service and food quality. Lake of food regulation standards. Was sick to the point of having to take the next day off work. I would recommend avoiding this establishment. There are better places to ear less than a block away.

Come here to avoid overpriced crappy food at your favorite Cobo event. The pork belly tacos will wow your taste buds and prices are decent. The draft beer selection is lame however so adjust your expectations accordingly.
