Clifton Martini & Wine Bar

It’s a nice place! Food and Service is great, we especially love Jeremy, I was introduced to the establishment by Big Rob more than a decade ago, he’s a regular (corner bar seat, back to the window on a Saturday night). Big Rob has taken me many times or I’ve even gone solo, great people, great convo, great fun, plenty of laughs. You have to experience it yourself though!

The chocolate martinis here are the best I've ever had! I go here just for them!

I stopped in here after work just to find somewhere to have a drink and end up walking up on a comfortable atmosphere that had me staying stronger. The food was excellent the staff was nice and they have a patio which is also a plus. I had a salad and I forgot what my friend ordered but she devoured it and we will be back soon

My family is vegan, and we are always looking for restaurants that have vegan options, but more importantly GOOD tasting vegan options. We've been to Clifton before and it's been a pleasant experience. But, WOW, Last night for Valentines day we went and seriously WOW. A new Chef with new vegan options. The food was excellent. A lot of restaurants offer vegan options, but for some reason assume that means no flavor. Not here at Clifton, the chef understands how to cook vegan food with complex flavor textures and it was awesome. We shared quite a bit of food and everything was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and the chef was actually bringing out his creations to each table and getting feedback from diners. Over all a great experience. I would highly recommend to anyone. (I didn't want to use a flash and disrupt other diners so please excuse the low light food pics)

No martini glasses at 630 PM on a Sunday. Bartender just dumped the ingredients into a rocks glass and served a “martini” on the rocks. Isn’t this a martini bar ?

I truly love this place. They have a dedicated vegan menu, I’ve heard their steak is excellent as well, they make staples extremely well, they have a beautiful drink selection. For a moderate size restaurant you can go here for whatever kind of vibe you’re looking for. The bar and the front patio are both relaxed. The elevated lounge area Is a great place to meet friends. The restaurant area is great for a date out. Well done

We've been seeing this place years and finally had the chance to go. Nice quaint restaurant that was great to be at with friends. Good service, food and drinks. I would have rated it 5 but my Brussel sprouts needed salt but overall great dinner and would visit again.

To give a little context regarding our experience, we were out with friends celebrating a wedding as a group of 8. This was my first time at this restaurant. Our waiter was filling in (not sure why) and was very inexperienced. I don't like to speak negatively about others, I just want to share the experience as it happened because I think it reflects the business itself. He was extremely slow, which wasn't too much of a bother in our case because we were talking and enjoying company the whole time. Each of us had to repeat ourselves multiple times, it took 25 minutes for me to get a beer, it took another 30 minutes to get the check after he said he would bring them. The food was pretty good. I got the clifton burger and would have preferred a condiment of some kind but all the ingredients tasted fresh. My wife got the lobster roll and that was tasty. She also got a martini (our first ever) and it tasted good to our inexperienced palate. All in all, I would give this place another shot.

In the winter time, it's a cozy warm spot for a glass of wine by a fireplace. In the warmer months the patio feels like home while you sip on a boozy cocktail.

We had a larger group on a Saturday night and this place was awesome and accommodated is even though we were an hour late (we got permission first). The mixed drinks were amazing. I got a black forest Manhattan (pictured) and it was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun. There was a wide variety of people and types of people. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodated or large party very well.The only downside was some of the food. The wraps were delicious, but the crispy brussel sprouts were small and charred. They were way too crispy. The vegan mushroom flat bread was also sub par. Fries were good. I'd be back for a drink again, very soon!!

This place has an impressive beer, wine, and cocktail list. Food is very good as well with reasonable prices. The patio is big and comfortable, but loses some ambiance after dark when the street lights are on.

Vary comfy place. Good delicious strong drinks ... pretty pricey.... But definitely worth it.

I dined from a comfy padded chair, at a polished wood table, near the window, and across from the fireplace. Nice. I really liked my house salad - spring greens, apple slices and more. Then: Beef Wellington - excellent. The seasoned beef was tender and delicious. Creamed potatoes, cranberries, young asparagus... Yum! My sweetheart and I shared almond cake topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

One of my favorite places to be! The martinis are the best around, the food is always amazing, and the service is top notch. The patio is the perfect place to be on those warm summer nights and dining inside has a relaxing vibe. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
