Clayton's Public House

I was skeptical of British food in LA until I came here, an absolute hidden gem downtown with fun decor, great drinks and great food! All the food was spectacularly executed, from freshness to talent, I'll absolutely be back!

I'm in LA for work, tonight was comfort activity night. So after finding a knitting group to hang out with, and perusing a book store, I ended up here for dinner. I was drawn by the decor and music.It has a very classy feel. I felt welcome when I walked in the door. Sat at the bar and was immediately greeted. I ended up ordering the crab linguine and love it. Although a piece of crusty bread would have helped. The nuts were fabulous. Warm and freshly prepared. I had the Harry Johnson to drink. It did not disappoint.Overall a warm welcoming experience, fairly priced for the area, and bar service at 10pm on a Wednesday was impeccable. I'd love to come again with friends.

Great new spot in Downtown LA, to have a beer and decent food. With lots of cool style. Service was really good too.
