First time order here and not happy. Burger was cooked to the crisp around the edges Lettuce was rubbery and the edges were black. Not Happy at all.

Clay's deserves a star for its outstanding Chicken Fried Steak meal, with a good seasoned steak, with a 'to die for' gravy sauce poured on top. Not to mention its garlic mashed potatoes that hit the spot! Very, very kid friendly and great service. A place for the whole family to have fun and eat good!

Great atmosphere, place was kept clean. Recommend this place if you want a place for kids to play and want to hang out, chit chat with family/friends and have a couple of drinks. A family beer garden vibe. There is a large green area so bring a ball or toys to play in the sand area.

A visually appealing location. So far from start to finish, as it was my first time , I found my self exploring while waiting for my food . This in it self helps time fly by and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. A very family friendly environment and the other customers here look very pleased.

Clay's is always amazing. Great food, great atmosphere, and it seems like an awesome place to throw a party or event.

I come here for the burgers! The Roger Burger is a must, it’s huge and delicious 😋 I have tried the Clays burger and it’s amazing as well. They have a really cute sand box for kids where they can play white you enjoy a cold one. Love it family friendly.

It was so hard for my family and I to enjoy ourselves when a raccoon was dining there too. Apparently the employees are use to it and had no problems with him walking from trash can to trash can. We were unable to eat peacefully. Both my kids had panic attacks, I lost my appetite so we left.

Do you miss going to a restaurant and enjoying a real quality meal? Having friendly staff greet you and making sure everything is to your satisfaction? How about not being sure what you should try for visiting for the first time and the cashier taking the time to make an honest and great recommendation? If you are like me and expect this level of service and quality of food, YOU have to try if not book a group so you all can see what I just experienced. I had the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans with a side of toast. It was all warm and delicious! Nothing was overly salted or seasoned in any bad way. The service was friendly, attentive and personable from the time I made contact with an employee. Hats off to your business model and your team. I will be coming back and with many more.

Renovated since the last time I was there. Looks sharp! Good burgers. Great place for families. Kids had fun running around playing ball while waiting for food. Miss the peacocks though.

Such a cool place in Katy! Awesome atmosphere and delicious food! Prices are great and they have specials throughout the week great place to bring kids and friends and family when they're in town!

Drive by this place every morning, and finally decided to try it out today. The Grilled Chicken Ranch Salad was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy and flavored with delicious. It was a very large serving and with just the right proportion of Onions, croutons, cucumbers, cheese, lettuce and chicken. It was also served with 2 ranch cups, which that is amazing. Most places use one for a large salad and say "make it work". I also tried the Blueberry Cobbler. I was very surprised to find peaches in my Blueberry cobbler, just because I'm not a fan of peaches. The crust was to die for it was moist and crumbled a bit when you tried to pick it up. The flavors(except the peaches) were Delicious. Thank you Clay's your food was delicious, with a generous portion, and I waited less time than in a drive thru. I will definitely try this place again. 4 stars only because of the peaches..

Loved the Live music, food & drinks!We didn't have a waitress come by "often" only when our food was ready. We had to keep going in for drinks🍺🍷 still a great place for the whole family.

1st time going.....amazing!!! Great tasting food and service. Clean & Family/,kid friendly. Nice place to come have a drink and let the kiddos go. Had their famous chicken fried steak w/garlic mash and steamed broccoli.. Amazing!! Went on a Sunday evening it was laid back and chill ....may be busier during peek times...will visit again!

Clay's is a surprise...It's a family style restaurant with a petting zoo and pony rides on Saturdays. I was surprised at the variety of items that they had on their menu. Ordering takes place at the counter and they give you a number to take to your table. Waitstaff bring you your meal and make sure you have everything you need. Our waitress was polite and checked in on us regularly.

Everyone at my table ordered the chicken fried steak. It did not disappoint. The ice tea AMAZING hard to find a good brewed tea worthy of drinking kids ate all their food that was a first. Service was great friendly ladies and manager walked to the table to check on us. Will recommend this place to everyone I know.
