Classic Town & Country

We went to the bar before our dinner reservation and I asked for a glass of pinot noir. The bartender turned to a selection of maybe 8 opened bottles and poured. We had one glass of wine for $27 and the bartender got an autograt of 20%. That's predatory and very poor service to not at least mention to a guest.

Our server, Marouen was great. He was very attentive and got everyone’s order right. The GM, Iman was also very welcoming and made sure we were satisfied. My second time coming here and I will always recommend it (:

Great representation of Mediterranean food .food was delicious but for the dessert Qishta belasal the qishta will be better if it’s colder with thicker consistency .otherwise perfect sitting and service.Highly recommended!!

The location is great, it's at the Ritz Carlton Residencies in Baltimore. I love that the valet parking is added to the bill ($13). It has a very nice ambiance but the photos oversell the interior a bit, in my opinion. The lamb shank was delicious. Plan to spend at least $100/person. Loved that the owner ans his daughter who the restaurant is named after were attending to guests. The service was wonderful!

A wonderful evening with great service, delicious food, and beautiful atmosphere. If you have spent time in the middle east, an evening here will bring back fond memories and nostalgia.

From the moment we walked in, the hospitality at Ammoora was unparalleled. The gentleman attending to guests went above and beyond, offering impeccable menu suggestions that elevated our dining experience from appetizers to dessert. Every dish boasted incredible flavors that left us in awe. Despite not having a reservation, dining at the bar felt like a luxurious treat. The bartenders were friendly and skilled, crafting some truly outstanding drinks. I can't recommend the French wine enough, and the dip with 17 ingredients is an absolute must-try. Overall, our evening at Ammoora was nothing short of exceptional.

This restaurant is amazing! We got a bunch of small plates and shared and everything was so fresh and delicious! The service was amazing and even the maître d gave us personal service. The decor and ambience was beautiful and relaxing. We were also given a taste of Mediterranean coffee by the the host while waiting for our Uber. I highly recommend - a great experience for a night out!

Ammoora is the best in Middle Eastern Cuisine! With surroundings fit for a crowned prince, with it lavish roses, mauves and creams is the perfect background a wedding proposal, celebration dinner or night on the town. Ammoora is now my favorite restaurant in all of Baltimore! If you like upscale, Ammoora is UPPEST scale. Already scheduled my next reservation. The food pairing and flavorings are unique, and GOOD! The portions are generous, and this makes the experience second to none. Please book this restaurant.

Oh gosh where do I begin? I attended this place for a friend’s birthday and the only decent thing is the decor. That’s where decency begins and ends. The automatic 20% gratuity on mediocre service and food is outrageous. The reservation was for 8:30. I arrived there about 8:15 the first of the party. As I walked through the door, I stood there for 5-7 mins roughly. Not one person acknowledged me when I walked. Mind you the hostess bar is right next to the entrance as well as the bar. About three people in the establishment saw me and NO ONE GREETED. The same happened to the rest of the party that attended. I ended up walking into the restaurant to see if my party arrived before I did. Didn’t see them and turned back around when a man in a black suit wants to approach and asks if I need help. What a joke. He then proceeds to say I can wait at the bar until the rest of my party arrives. I wait at the bar, do you think the bartender even acknowledges me? Nope! As my party arrives and we’re seated, they take 20 mins just to bring the drink order. We all ordered our appetizers and entrees at the same time. Waiter barely even came to our table. Appetizers took another 30 mins to come and those were the only decent tasting things. No one liked their entrees. Entrees even took an extra 25 mins to come. I ordered the short rib WITHOUT pine nuts and guess what happened?? The short rib has pine nuts on it. As I tell the person who brought it out, you would think they would make a new one. NOPE. All they did was take it off and they didn’t even take off all of the pine nuts and the person said “You’re not allergic right?”. I’ve never seen such sloppiness like this in my life. Now after we’re done paying this overpriced ridiculous bill, we decide to take pictures. As we’re taking pictures for my friend (whose birthday it was), they tell us we can’t use flash because there’s a party happening at the bar. Fine. We go to the bathroom area to take pics and even other patrons aren’t bothered by us taking pictures. Here comes the same two gentlemen telling us we need to leave because they’re closing. We finish taking our last pictures and leave. As we’re standing outside the establishment, same gentlemen come out again telling us we need to leave while we’re saying our goodbyes. Like how many times are you going to tell us to leave??? As other reviews have mentioned, they seem to act like this towards black people but that’s fine because this is definitely the first and last time I would ever step foot in the place and I will tell every single person I know do not waste your breath or money coming to here. You’ll be disappointed by the food, service and lack of attention and respect. NEVER AGAIN

Ammoora is beautiful. From the cute lounge seating to the restaurant, the decor is exquisite. We were seated in the lounge opposite the bar area and reception. If they had lovely music pumping for the lounge, the mood would have married the seating well and I would have totally enjoyed the food and company even more. I could barely hear music but other tables. Food was scrumptious. We had ordered hummus, babaganoush, lamb kofta skewers, lamb shank, and herb potatoes. The drinks were wow; old fashioned date and keefir! We finished with baklava platter and Ashra Bil Asal.

The place deserved a 4.5 stars in my book but thats not an option. I booked the reservation for the dining room but was placed in the lounge seating for an event which was nice in some areas but the seating on the wall is kind of open/exposed and not as private. The drinks were absolutely great and most of the food was amazing as well. I love the apps and the meals were really good however, not the best shortrib/shank we had (we eat out alot and those are go tos for us). The cotton candy dessert was the highlight of the night. Service was a little slow and disjointed at times(drinks took a while and we had appetizer plates taking up the table as they were bringing out main meals). The only thing that really bothered us was apparently the party that took over the dining room all rushed into the lounge area first and it became extremely busy/loud. We had random people taking over tables that were usually for diners, we were surrounded by people within feet of us just hanging out and kids kicking the booth seating 2 feet from me just hanging out. The situation could have been dealt a lot better considering how much we are paying for the meal/experience but I understand this is likely an isolated thing. The thing that saved us was that we were wrapping up the meal and we left as soon as possible.

The perfect place to bring anyone visiting from out of town. Delicious healthy meals with awesome service and the venue is beautiful.

The ambiance alone made us come here. But then we experienced the FOOD & it was exceptional. My husband and I were speechless. Our new favorite spot in Baltimore for sure.

I would give this place 5 stars for the ambience, aesthetics, and food BUT as soon as I was leaving I felt very disrespected by one of the waiters in the main ballroom. I was told i could go sit on the patio after eating happy hour at the bar (the bartender Katie was awesome btw!) and when i got there the waiter said “thats not how it works”. I was having my solo date and i thought that was a rude response. I told her no worries and left but after such a great experience, that one thing left a sour taste in my mouth. The restaurant was barely filled because i went when it opened. It was literally empty. Anyways, ill come back but i hope service is better.

Six of us are at this restaurant while on a business trip. Found it while searching on Google maps. The food, service and the atmosphere were all excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant!
