In business since 1875, and located in a residential area, City View Tavern perches about half way down the western slope of Mt. Adams. The beer is cold, the food is very good, and the view of downtown Cincinnati, the Ohio River, and Northern Kentucky is spectacular.

Questions & Answers
Yes
Yes its a little tight but you should be ok
They mainly do burgers (both meat and veggie) and everything is very reasonably priced. Like around 5-8 dollars for an entree and 5 bucks for a beer.
We have a framed collection of old postcards, and a few photos of the incline. Some of the foundations are still standing (one house down, across Oregon St.) and can be seen from our deck.
Nothing broke. May of '17, there was a landslide directly behind City View, caused by construction on Baum Street. The City considered the hill unstable until a proper retaining wall could be constructed. After that was completed, we made the necessary additions to our deck piers to ensure that everything stayed in place. The deck is open and ready for visitors!
