Excellent Ravenswood brunch spot that's well worth the wait! We arrived with no reservation and our spot was placed promptly by Ted just outside the door. He'd recommended reserving via Yelp for our next visit. It was about a 75 minute wait (scheduled and actual), but with a lovely April Sunday morning, no complaints on this end. Coffee carafe available for waiting patrons with cream and sugar. Very attentive and knowledgeable wait staff! Ordered the Monte Cristo Benedict with a side of perfectly seasoned potatoes; presented brilliantly and amazing taste! Definitely hope to return to this Ravenswood gem again soon!

Always a great experience! My 5th time here. The Sassy Eggs are a must, and the weekly specials are always on point. Never a bad meal at Over Easy. There's even coffee outside while you wait, which sometimes can be quite a while since it's so popular. Service was great again today, Marta was awesome!

I liked the Over Easy Cafe. The food was awesome and the service was also awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good and inexpensive breakfast, lunch, or brunch.

Be prepared for a wait at practically anytime, but definitely worth it. Service is impeccable, and food usually comes out 5 or 6 minutes after ordering. Try the pancakes, they have a fun option with bacon confetti.

Trying it for the first time. Had the half stack of French toast and the sassy eggs. Also their coffee. The French toast was delicious. The sassy eggs were different in a great way, but I can do without the ketchup. I will prefer the pepper sauce with it. Great portion of potatoes. Coffee was a bit bitter for my taste. Great service, very attentive and fast. Water and coffee were always full. Will definitely visit again.

As of today this is the best breakfast place.The server recommendations are what makes this menu unique and versatile. Deserves six stars

My partner and I have been going here for probably 10 years from time to time and we have never had anything we wouldn't order again or reccomend. The staples are incredible, and the rotating specials are always a treat. As a bonus, the staff is one of the most knowledgeable and friendly group of people I've ever interacted with. We always leave happy.

Lovely brunch place in the north side of Chicago. Lots of tasty selections garnished and served with a panache that add to the experience. Would certainly recommend their special Cornflake Crusted French Toast. They close at 3pm and waiting lines usually 30-60 min wait on weekends.

Good place! We were seated almost immediately. 4 person tables are a bit of a wait but 2 person are quick. Their food is very tasty and it comes out quick. Be careful about what you order as it can be very big. Their omelettes are good and the eggs are very well done.

Recently named one of the top ten best breakfast by Best Things IL. I've known this for a couple years. I tend to order from the weekly specials, since I don't make it in often enough. Chef Jon is always creating a new dish or bringing back a crowd favorite. They encourage the quick turnover on their tables but the weekends can still include a wait. It's worth it! I visited this place in November and February when I was in Chicago scouting places to live. I ordered food as a resident for the first time today, and they're as great as always. Delicious food and a great staff. Honestly, this place has everything I've ever wanted from a breakfast restaurant. That red potato hash is the truth!

Wow, this has to be one of the BEST breakfast spots in CHICAGO, probably even the MIDWEST. I can’t even fake it. The first time I went here I came with no expectations and was blown away by the quality of their food. Something told me that the food was going to BOMB when the wait time was 30 minutes. I can honestly say it was well worth the wait. Fortunately the second time I went here I made reservations.

Great place for brunch. I had the Sassy eggs and they were delicious. Service was excellent and they're child friendly. Top marks!
