Churrascaria Plataforma is a Rodizio style restaurant. Rodizio is a method of serving meat that originated in the south of Brazil in the early 1800's. The concept is to serve a wide variety of different cuts of beef - sirloin, baby beef, top round, skirt steak, short ribs, brisket, rib eye; pork - ham, pork ribs, sausage, pork loin, suckling pig; chicken - chicken legs, chicken hearts; turkey - wrapped in bacon; lamb, fish, etc. in succession, to each diner individually right at their table. A meal typically begins with a trip to the gourmet salad bar, which features a variety of vegetables and composed salads in addition to four hot dishes. We also serve a selection of side dishes at your table. The main course, the highlight of the meal, will start when you flip your coaster-sized "chip" from the red side to the green side, signaling the meat cutters you're ready to be served. Winner of Three Consecutive NYC Health Dept "Golden Apple Award".

I meet friends in this nice place from time to time! This is my favorite restaurant to grab a bite. I visit this place frequently. The meals are of high quality, the team is welcoming and the payment is reasonable. I like eating in this place to have a tasty meal.

An excellent experience all around. The establishment is classy without being formal so well suited to any party. I have been here for a few special events and each time has been nothing short of magical. The all you can eat is overwhelming, with quality in each item. The main attraction is the meat and it does not disappoint. The lamb and beef rib were some of the best cuts and when the pork is served there is a very old fashioned style cutting presentation. The salad bar has a great level of variety to prepare you for the main event. Really great all around place well worth the trip.

Food was fantastic and the service was outstanding! We went for my mother in law's 50th birthday and they accommodated us very well. I think if I had to complain about anything it would be a $3 a person cutting fee if you bring your own cake. And even that is not bad it's business. Definitely recommend!

It varies (quite a bit) by time and day... M-F lunch (12-4pm) is $40PP Weekend lunch is $47PP Sun-Th dinner (after 430) is $64PP Fri-Sat dinner is $66PP Salad bar only prices are about $15 less but why bother? Senior and military lunch $33/dinner $51 Children under 5 are free, 6-11 are $20/$22, 12-15 are $30/$44 Pricing is confusing as heck if you ask me. Drinks and desserts are $12-15ish. Also, discounted parking @ $12/5hr cars and $22/5hr SUV.
