I wish I could give them 0 stars. Waited in drive thru for so long I gave up and went inside. Once inside I just knew I would get faster service. I was the second person in line and the young lady taking orders just walked away to drop fries. 5 minutes later I decided Churches Chicken just wasn't in the cards for me. I will never go to any Churches Chicken in Columbia SC again. Every location I've been to in this city sucks.

The okra was fried hard and over cooked. The service was distasteful. My order was wrong! I asked for mashed potatoes gravy on the side. I received mashed potatoes swarmed with gravy! I asked for fries instead of the burnt okra, I received old tasting hard fries! Very unpleasant and very nasty environment! No friendly smile, just complaint about the fries and okra just being taken out.

Best chicken around for a fast food establishment. Normally always fresh and the taste is well worth the wait. Try the okra and dirty rice. You won't be disappointed. Sometimes there is a wait but like I said... it's worth the wait.

These folks are lightning fast and sweet as molasses. The menu has all the classics and some incredible new styles. Try the fish!

At one time, the chicken used to taste burned like it was cooked with old, used cooking oil. They have gotten much better the last few times I have gotten chicken from there. The Wednesday deal was good, 8 pieces for $5.99, added 6 biscuits and I didn't spend $10.

Love church's chicken. Go there often usually several time's a month. Sadly lately their chicken haven't tasted the same . And have witnessed several people return chicken sayin it was not done in the last month/two. Strongly recommend check your box before you leave the store. If possible break a piece of the leg/thigh open while you're still at checkout. Bought a 3 piece last night. Got home ate two pieces saved one for breakfast headed it up in microwave tore open The thigh it was Bloody. Took it back to church's showed them raw chicken. ask for my money back. Was told I couldn't get my money back because I bought it last night. But was asked did I another thigh. (Realy?). Said no it might be raw to. Manager gave me $2.00 refund. Below is photo proof of Raw chicken. Might be the reason why they closed at least three other Church's Chicken Down.

It's a double edge sword for me. I truly love their chicken and biscuits. Both have a unique flavor that I love. But you have to check your order before leaving. We had to remind them we paid for tea, but we forgot to look in the bag and one of our sides were missing once we got home. Most of the staff are friendly, but some must just want to get out of there. Even with that, I'll always go back. The flavor is worth it.
