This place only have the name if your looking Church's Chicken you have not found it on Minnesota avenue, for one they didn't have the big wings with that piece of the breast attached also they ran out of okra fried okra come on who does that 🤷 Church's Chicken you're starting off with a bad start step your game up and LOSE the Church's Chicken name because this is not the original Church's Chicken 🤦😭

I grew up eating Church's Chicken, and I pick some up whenever I'm down south or in the Philly area. What I got today from the Church's restaurant on Minnesota Avenue was tied with the worse I've ever had. The other was L'enfant Plaza. First of all, the fries were awful. Crinkle fries are my favorite, so you can just imagine my disappointment The fires were stale and soft, not crispy at all. The batter on the chicken was too thick. It was cooked hard on the outside, and not done all the way on the inside...a very amateur error I don't know what recipe they are following, but it's not close to Church's flavor or standard. I am giving 1 star solely for the biscuits. Neither of the 2 Church's restaurants in DC deserve the Church's name. Don't waste your time or money unless both restaurants are willing to get and follow proper training

The food was really good. But then I noticed a part of my chicken wasn’t fully cooked (like it was pink and mushy at the top) I’m thinking how do you cook a chicken that’s 95% done. I noticed after I was finished I had the urge to really use the restroom.Next morning, I wake up throwing up...Having the urge to use the restroom again and I started throwing up.Is this food poison? I can’t eat anything else, every time I do, I just throw it straight back up. Last time I had Church Chicken was 5-7 years ago at L’Enfant Plaza and I had the same experience. (I never went back)So I guess I’m never coming back. The only good thing from this place are its biscuits.

Questions & Answers

Church's Chicken use to be all over DC MD and VA back in the day

You might not find street parking and the closest parking garage is expensive. Your better off taking the Metro. Otherwise, you will have to walk pretty far. Seems like an expensive lunch.

Believe me, you don't want to buy anything from them within an hour of closing. Last time I ordered from them (several months ago) I made a delivery order about 45 minutes before closing and they delivered bad chicken luckily my food poisoning was mild but it's still bad enough that I think twice whenever I think of ordering from them now.

Popeyes is way better don't bother

Yeah call them direct, never got an order delivered to me from Churches.
