I went there for the first time every with my parents today. This place was practically empty during dinner hours, with several staff members around. Our poor server looked as if she had lost the hope of joy in her life, and even then at least was sweet enough to try and fix the errors (with excuses but she tried) that were bring made. 3 people. 3. That's it for this table. One plate was piping hot, one luke warm (if that's what you can call it), and one that was as cold as the a/c. Food is good but please, $28, $38, $50 worth for an entree I can make myself at home with little practice? Easily smaller portions, loud atmosphere, somber servers, high prices.....save yourselves the trouble. Half Shell is across the street with slightly better pricing, better lighting, and servers who care to at least smile. Also, whoever makes Chuck's bread and risotto could really stand to learn that yes, salt is an ingredient added in food -_- it's not decoration.

Outstanding restaurant. This place will get busy. We arrived at 6. Seats no problem. My colleague had sushi. I had the seared Tuna. Very good food great and quick service.

Since the name of the restaurant is FISH I have always had fish prior to today. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the ribeye was. Better than some steakhouses. Chuck's is constantly good. I think it's a bit overpriced but you get a very good meal for your money. If you are looking for cheap- it ain't here. If you are looking for consistency and good food it's here. Service is well above average.

Incredible service, every worked I interacted with was very kind. Top notch food, great portions at the price. Knowledgeable staff too, they helped ensure I could eat with a dairy allergy and be safe. Ended up having some of the best sushi I've ever had in my life, will be coming back. 10/10 date spot, or just a great place to eat in general.

Brussels sprouts were out of this world. Sushi was excellent. We had 3 different sushi rolls. My entree was grouper. It was just ok blood line left the fishy taste and I would not get it again. The service was awesome.

My husband and I had an excellent dinner here for our anniversary! My sushi was wonderful and my husband’s steak was cooked perfectly. Dessert was also fabulous! Our server was wonderful as well. He was very attentive and we really enjoyed talking with him (Phillip). This was the best meal we’ve had in quite a while. We will definitely be back!

My ribeye was great. Husband’s chicken pasta was dry, chicken was soggy and waiter was hard to find. We ordered sushi as an appetizer and before we even placed our order for entree. We received our entree before we were brought the sushi as I explained I did not want this to happen when I ordered. When asked about the appetizer, waiter inquired about a shrimp appetizer and looked puzzled. Clearly, we were not thrilled that our date night was not what we had expected from this restaurant.

Very disappointed! Day after homecoming. We come here yearly and always love the pizza which was not available. They claim because of homecoming weekend they ran out. I don’t believe it- it just takes too much time to make pizza and I guess they want to do quicker turnover of tables. They knew they would be busy from all past history of the previous homecoming Bama games. Then we went to order Sushi and waiter discouraged us from from ordering because it could take up to 45 minutes. We watched another table order sushi and they received way before 45 minutes - again I believe they want to turnover tables. I did finally order the grilled tuna entree and the taste was fine but the tuna was a poor cut with stringy tissue. Desert was great otherwise. We will take our business elsewhere in the future.

Easily a top 10 restaurant in the area. Food, drinks, and service were all amazing! We had the Uptown Shrimp, Spring Rolls, Smoked Tuna Dip, Red Snapper (fish of the day), and the Filet. Try the Pineapple Jalepeño margarita! Everything was delicious!

This was our first visit to Chuck's and we loved it! Wide variety of food and our group each had something different. We sampled each other's dish and it was all delicious!

Two plus hour wait to eat on a graduation weekend (U of Alabama), subpar service at the table, worst pizza I've ever tasted. Would a reservation system kill you? My time is worth nothing in service to your business? Have some respect for your fellow human beings.

The food and service is first rate. I enjoyed a delicious cup of seafood gumbo that I would say is the definition of seafood gumbo. My wife and daughter shared the Black and Bleu pizza that was plentiful and very tasty. My blacked fish tacos was outstanding and was complemented with the rice pilaf. It has been too long since we have visited this establishment but we will be back soon.

It was my mom's 93rd birthday and I wanted to take her to a special place that she would enjoy. She just loved Chuck's. She had the sea scallops and loved them. Mom also liked the chardonnay so I asked our waiter what wine the bartender had poured for mom. He was so sweet and brought the bottle over to our table so I could see the label and copy down the name and vintner. Milou Chardonnay. Mom liked the chardonnay so much she had a second glass. Heck if you make it to 93 you'd have a second glass of wine too! BTW I had the seared tuna and it was fantastic. We will be going back very soon to Chuck's and I will be ordering some sushi next time. Their sushi menu is quite extensive with many varieties to try. Good seafood, good service, good wine equals a good time. P.S. They have pizza too cooked in their pizza oven. That looked good too. Go to Chuck's.....you won't be disappointed!
