1423 never fails to disappointmentWe visit 1423 China Kitchen each year I come to Windsor. To my mind it serves the very best Sichuan food in Windsor even the best in the UK. Try the fish fillet in chilies if you like spicy! Definitely not disappointed , my mum ordered lamb with cumin, Wooo~~~ so tender and nice, really the same taste I had in China!Service is also prompt and courteous. Especial the manager Kai, looked after my family quite well each time & always.Really a treat for us each time in Windsor, we will come back soon!

One of our favourite places to eat in Windsor. Food is always first class, as is the service which is always friendly and attentive. Every time we visit there are always Chinese customers dining which we always think is a good indication of authentic cuisine. I would recommend a visit!

Was nice food I can’t complain ..... I wouldn’t want to write a bad review with the response you get from the management I only wish I could respond to my customers like that, I would if I could but I can’t because it’s not professional but is also unfair to write really bad reviews when they are not deserved however that’s why these things are called reviews so you can improve where and when you can you can’t keep every customer happy but staff need to improve on there harsh reply’s

i buy from deliveroo. I never ordered a Chinese food so i order from here windsor, i buy two times, i think fujian noodles and xo sauce, was very good experience both times. pricey but worthwhile for sure. thank you.

The food is great the but the atmosphere and the staff weren't as good. If you can, order it and take away.

A newly opened resteraunt which has a lot of potential. Been there twice now. Food was excellent; fresh, authentic, and very tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent & authentic Chinese food, remarkable service and although the building was built in 1423, the owner has decorated the interior beautifully with imported furniture from China along with all exquisite chinaware so the entire atmosphere is superb! Food here is outstanding and scrumptious, have tried a number of dishes and have not been disappointed. Their beef in special sauce (Mongolian sauce) is simply delicious and juicy, I have also tried their hotplate beef, hot & spicy tofu and pak choi with Chinese mushroom – everything is so fresh and authentic, presentation itself will just make you drooling. If you happen to be in Windsor, or live nearby, do not hesitate to come and try, you will not be disappointed.
