China Wok

I don't go there often because I live far away but when I go to the mall across that's when I visit the restaurant. Every time i go there, the food was decent. I appreciate People who work in the service field, People who complained that they hung up on them on busy hours was probably the people who ask a bunch of questions but never ready to place an order, why be so inconsiderate.

Worst General Tso Chicken in South Hampton Roads! I've sampled this dish at over a dozen Chinese restaurants across Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, and this was by far the worst. The dish failed on all three of the main rating criteria. The chicken was not crispy fried. It was spongy and soft. The sauce had no pepper in it. It might as well have been sweet and sour squeezed out of a packet. Also, it's not General Tso without the broccoli, and there was no broccoli on the plate. I was told (after the fact) that they only put broccoli on the dinner portion. Wrong! You're supposed to serve a reduced portion for lunch, not a portion that's missing a prime ingredient. I took one bite of China Wok's soft slop and gave the dish back to the counter help. The staff couldn't have cared less and offered no refund for my untouched lunch.

well i called myself trying to order some food for delivery, which they have delivered to my address many times before, and i am told by a whole other employee than i was speaking to that they don't deliver to my area. and then hung up on me. they are truly rude and unprofessional.

Speedy delivery. Hot delicious food. My Kung Pao was delicious

Lady who answered phone VERY RUDE tried to place phone order definatly had attitude will never call there again and will not recommend this place to ANYONE !!!! Not the way to run restaurant and keep customers especially new customers .

Terrible customers service. The lady that answers the phone is nasty acting. Last time i ordered my food from them there was not one hair not 2 hairs but 3 hairs in my food. I called to express my concert and the lady started fussing at me n hung up. Dont trust the reviews belong. This place is terrible n you would be wasting you money.

My husband order shrimp and broccoli in garlic sauce same thing i order all the time! So the man didnt hear the shrimp we live in Va beach and had to drive all the way back because he didnt hear it so instead of them just making it for the inconvience they charged $3 for shrimp I waisted more gas coming back up here for some very bad customer service their food good but if u cant value a regular customer than they just lost ONE!!!

Spring rolls just ok. Beef and broccoli just ok. Lemon sweet tea is the bomb though.

We've had delivery from China Wok a few times. It's hot when it arrives with tons of condiments. We love that.Our problem with China Wok is that the dishes are literally swimming in oil. We can't pour out of the containers onto plates (we always order several items from the menu). We have to pick "this" and "that" from the containers due to how much oil there is in the containers. Way too much for good satisfaction.China Wok needs to lighten up on the oil and make their dishes nice and fresh without having to fish what we bought from a pool of oil

They're not too friendly you get very weird looks when you walk into the building they don't make you feel to welcome the prices are a little steep higher than most around the city the food to me is average but the scenery around it meaning the janaf shopping center is pretty good so you can order some food and go shopping by time to come back it'll be ready don't expect anything to extraordinary though.

Ordered the general tso's chicken for my husband, said the chicken had a gamey taste, and I had the pepper steak and onions, couldn't chew the steak, and the fried rice was not true fried rice. I would not recommend, and I will not order from them again!!

The food is not flavored and not good and the employees had a bad vibe when we walked in the door and was talking about us in chinese language and i dont accept this behavior
