Surprisingly good. Best chinese food for under 10 dollars

No regard for hygiene. Firstly, I saw the old man walk out of the restaurant next door to the Italian place, came back and started making my food! Didn’t even bother to wash hands or wear gloves; he started picking veges for the soup with bear hands. Secondly, he had this old white but almost turned black cloth in his hand which he used to scrub the wok and directly poured the broth in for soup without washing the pot. Gross! I saw him using the same cloth to handle other hot Pots and wiping his hands and the counter in front of him... almost had a gag reflex. I told them to stop cooking and I left within 30 seconds of ordering. Never again

This place has such friendly staff, they always remember our orders. And it goes without saying it gets four starts cause the food is great as well.

I eat Chinese take out at least once a week. Discovered this place 6 years ago and have been going back on a regular basis since then. I've given them many chances in the recent past to redeem themselves, since, at one time this was hands down the best Chinese take out in Milton. However, I've been burned too many times lately and feel that it just isn't worth the hassle anymore. Another reviewer mentioned that options for Chinese food in Milton are limited but, at this time, ANY option is better than China Star...steer clear

Honestly the sesame chicken and rice combo is very good! The rice isn't dry, its perfectly cooked, the chicken is as well and perfectly saucy. However I don't like how it has to come with an Egg roll.. I don't like egg rolls, it would be nice if you could pick a chicken ball or something like that to sub the egg roll

Ordered the dumpling and curry chicken. Big mistake. First of all, the dumplings were undercooked. That's a good start, right? I thought the expensive price tag would be offset with the quality but man was I wrong. Next was the curry chicken. Now it might as well have been called Curry Onion and Mushrooms since there's barely any chicken in it and the container was filled to the brim with onions. The chicken portion is so cheap. I honestly couldn't believe how small it was. I'd say it was about 40 grams of chicken total. The entire entree was small to begin with but they even cheat you on the chicken. This was 13.99 by the way not including the rice which was another 4 dollars. With that, I might as well have gone to a shawarma place and gotten twice or thrice the amount of chicken for that price or better yet, have gone to our local Asian Grocer and bought one of their ready to go meals for a fraction of that price. Total rip off and poor attention to quality.

Ok food, it's mainstream Chinese takeout so you know what you're getting. Prices are good, very reasonable. Quick services, big portions.

good Chinese takeout place makes fresh, fast, good tasting food. I've tried several Chinese takeout places in Milton and China Star still wins. Service is also friendly and fast.

I had the chicken and black bean lunch special. It was really tasty, hot, and the chicken was the most tender I've had in a stir fry like this. Lots of vegetables which is what I like. Ordered it spicy and they got it right. A friend who goes there recommended it, and he was spot on.

Good prices and quick efficient service, food is not bad but could be a bit warmer sometimes, other than that no complaints

So disapponted and embarassed for buying take out from here and feeding it to my family. Its a hit and miss with their recipes. the first time i came, the pad thai tasted like real pad thai with a generous amount of chicken. now, its bland. the salted fried squid is super salty, after i ate one, i had to drink a whole glass of water, we eventually just threw it out. the general tsao chicken didnt have chicken at ALL! me and family picked each one out to see if there is, and there was barely any amount except for 3 measley pieces (the package is misleading) its all deep fried breading and topped with the sauce. we spent a good amount of money and its not worth coming back to. the people were nice but the quality of food is bad. I dont know if the restaurant is cutting corners with the ingredients. but this is no way to run a business.
