I live a block away and stayed away from this place for 5 years. Today went in, ordered combination lo mein, okay. I ordered CHICKEN & Broccoli, got home, looked at the CHICKEN & Broccoli, the CHICKEN appeared TRANSLUCENT, tasted the CHICKEN: SOUR, BITTER LIKE VINEGAR, ICK! Took it back, got pork & broccoli, better. That was the food, the floors, counter & tables were filthy. I would not recommend this place, to anyone! Sorry, they were closed last summer by the city, I guess they didn't learn their lesson?

Hello, I'm a frequent client at this location. But lately I've been discouraged to order, why?I'm glad to say the lady who handles your order in person is respectful and kind. But there are some drawbacks to their service: -they may mistake your chicken request, for pork, beef, and even seafood.-At times you may find a string of hair in your food, yea I don't know about you but that's not on the menu.-Ask for delivery, receive your order quick! But the delivery personal will try to somewhat insult you for no tip. (I'm paying for the food, not a lap dance.)Witch humored me and renewed my judgment about their delivery service.If your sick and want to order from this location, please don't. You'll find better costumer service in person then ordering from home. (I strongly recommend, go in person.) The food is to enjoy, but only if they got it right. This is why the name of the location "China Star" is appropriate because it deserves One star.

I have been going here for years. Always great food.
