Didn't get there until 8:30. Wasnt very busy. Bar was hot and stocked. We drive an hour to get there a few times a year.

I want to give this place a 3.5 star rating. Been here twice, once in the evening and once at lunchtime. The lunchtime buffet is worlds better than the evening buffet. At lunch everything is fresh and the kitchen's work well to keep everything hot and stocked. Unfortunately for the evening buffet, the establishment is already looking forward to closing time. The selection wasn't as great. Instead of being fresh and crispy, fried things were greasy. And one of the stir-fries I had was lukewarm. Long story short, for the best fare China Buffet can offer go during the prime lunchtime hours.
