excellent place to enjoy with family

The mall has changed over the years a some of stores have moved out. But still if it's more convenient and your not extremely particular you can probably find what you are looking for and, some good restaurants near by.

Though the layout is/was nice there is little left there. Unfortunately it will be closing in January 2020 :( Hopefully they come up with a good use for the soon to be vacated space.

Very sad to see all of the vacancies & that it is getting so ran down:(Growing up I loved this mall! The lay out is nicer than West Town.

Its sad that this place is going down. I think if someone had any sense on how to run a business this place would be like its glory days. There is enough traffic in that area walmart and restaraunts to give the mall plenty of customers. But when there is hardly any stores left less and less people come. They should have took charge 8 years ago and especially in the last 5. But what dows this place expect when the parking lots are ran down and they do absolutely no updating in 20 years. Now they are trying to open businesses inside the mall whats up with that?

Well there isn't anything left to hate any more the mall is formally and permanently closed.

Knoxville Center (formerly know as East Town Mall) was once a lively place. Now most, if not all, of the stores are closing and it is more like walking through a vacant building. There are better stores in a strip mall just around the corner from the once vibrant mall.

Too bad its closing down. It's in a decent area of town. Dangit! The B of it is, its closing. I don't have dates and whatnot, but she's going down. We just pulled down the ccx Regal cinemas sign and that is never good. I am new to the Knoxville area, but coming where I come from, I have seen it happen. I am sure it will reopen ghetto style. But hey, that's life! Sorry Knox for losing it.

Sad mall. It’s so deserted it feels like you’re part of “The Walking Dead”. Before I moved out of state, I used to love coming here to shop, eat, or go to the movies. I even went to the dental clinic before. It used to be a vibrant, easy to access mall. Now it’s sad and scary. Belk’s is closing soon although having a 40-60% off sale now. Bed & Bath is closing and has some great prices on candles. But I hate to see them leave. We visited The Gilded Gown, a bridal shop, and had a wonderful experience. We asked staff and customers in these various stores, “What’s going on?” and got several different answers. Some say the mall is remodeling. Others say the rent was increased so high most of the stores closed. Still others stated there had been so many robberies they’re closing. I don’t know the answer. All I know is I hate to see it go. Another casualty due to online sales? 😥

Dont waste your time coming here unless you want to just walk around for exercise while listening to elevator music. Most of the stores are closed and about five are open that include the two places to eat inside just sad.

What a sad sight. I went to meet someone here to purchase a camera... I then ventured inside to see about getting an SD card for the camera and some batteries. There is virtually nothing inside this mall anymore. I think there was a gamer store, a couple restaurants in the food court, and a Champs. Literally nothing.

Sadly this mall has been on a downhill spiral since I have lived in Knoxville (20 years). Sad because it is auch a nice mall. Two story and huge layout...but everything is migrating west and this mall is paying the price...

November 2019. Decided to walk through this sad ghost town of a mall. Hoping the renovations change this place around.

Nice website and stores to visit. Can't wait to go and check it out. Wish the website had ways to order from each store. But, I will definitely be going to check it out.
