I come here all the time because I live nearby - best quality Chinese food by far. Some of the best in the city.

On par with favourites such as Szechuan mountain house and Chili, spot is a great option for happy hour or lunch if you are working in Hudson Yards. Food is as good as it gets, but exceptionally impressive was the plain white rice - somehow they got the rice to be so fluffy and white. Best rice i’ve ever had.

We were very happy with our dinner at Chi. Service was excellent, the decor of the restaurant is modern, clean and the music gave the whole place a very pleasant vibe. The food was excellent - everything we had was great, from the appetizers to the main course and the desert. The biggest surprise was the chocolate soufle. It was just the right amount of sweet, dense and had a nice texture. Would definitely come back.

Great service and ambiance and very tasty dishes. The sauce for the garlic eggplant is TO DIE FOR. Cajun prawns are great as well but beware the Szechuan peppercorn (has a very tingly mouth feel) if that’s not your jam. Overall great find and will definitely be back

What a great addition to the Chinese food scene. One of the best Chinese meals I've had outside a Chinatown. I could eat here every week. Try the spicy Cucumber, the mashed eggplant and the cumin lamb. There's an interesting drink menu as well. Prices are reasonable. Space is large and modern. So happy it's not far from where I live. Looking forward to trying some other dishes. So hard to choose.

We had a great experience! The smashed eggplant was our favorite, don’t skip it. :)

Amazing Chinese restaurant that just opened in early 2023 in Hell’s Kitchen. Carefully decorated with rich menu offering unique Asian dishes with delicious ingredients. Be careful if you are not a spicy food lover. Make sure to say no spicy at all as extremely mild will still ruin your tummy. Overall, reasonably priced and extremely clean. We got Scallion pancakes and soup dumplings for appetizer and loved both. Spring rolls are crunchy as hell, yum. Pork wonton soup was okay but we loved the wok seared superior beef slices, again spicy. Lo mein beef noodle was also yummy. Tea lovers will fall in love with their Jasmine tea and its pot. Great quality, great value.

Food was very good. I wish there were more 2x spicy options on the menu. 1x spicy isn’t quite enough. Drinks were good and service was above average. I’d come here again.

Only got a few items, but the three things that I did get they aced, perfectly seasoned, and it all came out hot. Genuinely impressed, 100% blown away with the flavor and atmosphere.

Amazing high quality food at reasonable prices. Service was quick and friendly although it was mid-afternoon. One irritation was the inability to order the appetizer specials at my table in the restaurant unless I moved to the front by the bar.

Excellent food, with a upscale flare on the authentic Chinese food I enjoy in mainland china. Koushuiji is one of my favorite flavors and they do it as I remember.

Excellent Szechuan food in midtown west. Service is quick and efficient and the food is hot and fresh. We come here every week.
