Worst service I've ever had! I won't be back!

Great Restaurant!!! If your looking for the atmosphere of the great Chinese restaurants mostly long gone...well this is it! Great menu, I had the Szechuan Shrimp.... Delicious! The hot and sour soup was a great starter to ignite my taste buds. Definitely going back! Enjoy!

Very good Chinese food. Courteous staff. Ample parking. Good menu selection. Probably my favorite Chinese food in Ventura County.

My worst experience in a restaurant. I regret having accepted to have lunch there. I went with a group of 10 for my school farewell. We needed two more forks and cups and I went to look for help. One of the servers, a lady, started yelling at me to go back to my seat. Then the server, an elder Asian guy, who was to serve at our table was yelling at me for about three minutes because I asked another employee for two cups. He was very disrespectful in front of my friends. I was so ashamed that I just wanted to go but I didn’t want to make a drama especially that my friends were there. I won’t ever recommend that place to anyone. I believe that customers deserve to be respected and having a server yelling at you for no good reason seems to be what I will remember this place for. Food wise the prices are rather high for what you get. Yelling and disrespecting customers is on the house.

Stopped in for some Hot n Sour soup. It was excellent. We eat there quite often and the food is very good. Sometimes you have to wait because there is a line, for lunch and dinner. They also do a lot of takeout so you can order over the phone and pick it up. You won't be disappointed.

We had a group of 10 this evening and the food and service was a 4 star, maybe 5. However, when we went to pay and divided the bill between 5 couples we determined every couples contribution with 20% tip. 4 paid with cash and one with debt, one couple but in a $50 as part of their contribution. All of a sudden the $50 disappeared and we were being told we were short. We made up the difference and left. However I vowed that second I would never go back again and will share this experience with everyone I know. Generally we always use debt or credit and now I know it will never be anything but.

Food is good, staff needs an upgrade

My wife and I have eaten here for over 30 years. The ambiance is excellent, the staff is friendly, the food is never disappointing..... we have always come back to Chesters, at least once a week..

Yum, well worth a try. Very good and generous portions. Great customer service. The decor is gorgeous too. Prices very affordable. Lots of food pictures on their website. Give it a try.

We enjoyed our first visit here. Our food was delicious! Our server seemed like he didn't want to be there however. We will return to give it another try.
