Chef Tony's

Small place but excelent food and service

With relatives coming in from out of town, we wanted to have a "wine pairing" dinner. Not wanting to go to downtown DC, Chef Tony';s was a convenient location with a parking garage across the street.We did schedule this dinner several weeks in advance, and finalized the menu and pairings beforehand (They provided a menu tailored just for us). We were seated promptly, and the service was exceptional, as well as the food! (see pictures). We had plenty of time, and were not rushed at all. The servers explained each food and wine selection in detail. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. We met Chef Tony and his wife afterward, and they were charming and appreciative of our patronage. Well done, Chef Tony and Staff!

The place offers a large range of fresh food. I loved eating here. The employees are always super nice, rates are affordable and the spot is always kept clean.

Very friendly service and tasty food. My dish was great but my companion felt it was lacking. Still worth a trip and the muscles are delicious.

Exceptional culinary experience and the entire staff is phenomenal, makes you feel right at home. A must if you're in the area ..

This was a great meal with some amazing seafood. The lobster was buttery goodness. The scallops were great... According to my coworker.

Food was outstanding! Seafood paella and stuffed crabmeat mushrooms (appetizer) were delicious! Service was friendly, timely. Atmosphere was intimate and right noise level for conversation. Highly recommend.

I rarely give 5 stars, chef Tony's deserves it. Prices are reasonable and portions are big, but everything is delicious. We had muscles, calamari, and crab soup for starters; cod, Scottish salmon, trout, and crab pasta for entree; and finally tiramisu and bread pudding as dessert... Everything was so good. I will definitely come back for others.

This place simply knows how to take care of their clients. Consistently with a very welcoming approach. The food is fairly priced, regularly delightful and clean.

Good food. Authentic. A little noisy and tight but that’s part of the authenticity. Great staff

Firsr time visiting the restaurant and we were very impressed. Food was delicious and everything was full of flavor. We had Scallops, Mussels, and Shrimp appetizers with the Dad's Crab Pasta for the entree. Warm treatment by the staff as well. Will be back next time we're in Bethesda!! Thanks for a great meal.

Food and service was good. I didn't give 5 stars because waiter repeatedly made mistakes on the bill. The maitre d' finally had to step in to give us a correct bill.

Chef Tony's is what a restaurant should be. The food is beyond delicious, and the service is old-school classy. Don't miss out on the crab cake -- it's the best I've had in decades!

Soo.... the kids are away and since we had a few more days to play... We came by Chef Tony's. AMAAAZINGG!! I've been searching all over for the Calamari that I had at The Breakers in West Palm Beach years ago and LORD!! Topped that! EVERYTHING WAS TASTY/DELICIOUS and fresh! Seafood FOODIE!! Chef Tony was very personable.
