Chef Kwo

Under $10 for combo dinner item with fried rice and egg roll. Also one of the only places in S. Charlotte open late on Sunday nights. Food is pretty fresh and tasty. Always see the family in there studying or taking a break. They seem to be hard workers. I wish they’d but the seafood boil I see them eating on the menu though.

I ordered orange chicken,fire cracker shrimp,pepper chicken combo meal and garlic chicken for dinner for my family. I ordered all of them medium spicy. My family like spicy. Orange chicken was really good and good portion for the price. Pepper chicken combo meal was good too and spice level was good and no sugar syrup in it . But garlic chicken was really sweet and bland and fire cracker shrimp was horrible. There is no fire in that and it is basically shrimp in sugar syrup with some chopped raw onion.. If you like shrimp with raw onion and with syrup ,then it's different. But the shrimp was good. And another thing the veggies were not properly washed, because I got some weird sand like taste possibly from the mushrooms.

I love the owner she is so nice, remembers your past orders, the food has great taste, good prices and very clean establishment. Their garlic chicken and broccoli taste like NYC it's the best in Charlotte

If you're looking for breaded deep fried chicken covered in greasy sauce, then Chef Kwo is not for you. If you're looking for delicious Chinese food with good cuts of meats and fresh vegetables then you're in the right place. My wife is from NY and i am from London and we have been looking for a decent Chinese place since moving here. 6 years on and we still have not had satisfactory Chinese, that is until I had lunch at Chef Kwo. I had the best General Tso's I've had in forever. So my wife and I go, order 5 things from the menu and loved every single one of them. DELICIOUS!

First time here and came on my lunch. Customer service was delightful and the dish i ordered was the best I’ve ever had from a chinese restaurant. I wanted to call and thank them but i thought a great review would serve way better. I had the lunch special shrimp w garlic sauce. It’s spicy just like i like it. Comes with fried rice and egg roll. Our Delivery Was Fast & Food Was Still Hot, The Food Was Wonderful & Way Better Then A Lot Of These Chinese Restaurants. We Are From NY & This Was The Only Place That Has Crab Sticks. My Husband Is a Big Food Critic & He Was Very Pleased With The Food. Will Be Ordering From Them From Now On.

When I lived in Charlotte years ago, I would come here nearly every week. The food is catered to the Charlotte demographic, not necessarily to Chinese people. However, it's family owned and the owners are absolutely wonderful people. I miss their friendliness.

Had their food just once and it was okay. Wasn't he best Chinese food I've ever had, it was just okay. Seems to be hard to find great Chinese food in Charlotte.
