We are always on the hunt for Bosnian food and I'm embarrassed to say that somehow Chef Alisah's flew under our radar for the last 2 years we've been in Phoenix. To think of all the delicious food we missed on trips to Tucson. Well, now we need not suffer for our ignorance. We were greeted by the chef/owner like family. One of my favorite things about dining in a Bosnian restaurant is it feels like walking into someone's dining room in their home. The hospitality can't be compared. Food options are diverse and everything is flavorful and rich. Having lunch left us full until breakfast the next day. It could have been the double dessert, a special bean/beef stew shared as an appetizer, or just the huge portions... Maybe all 3.This is now a must have for any trip we'll be making to Tucson. Whether you're local or just passing through, you don't want to miss out on this unique and charming experience.

I am astounded by this place. The food was excellent. The chef and his wife are lovely people who made us feel right at home. I will be eating the leftovers from the chefs special for a few days and I am looking forward to it immensely. Two big thumbs up. I can't wait to return.

I'm SO glad I visited! The location is quiet and low-key - easy to miss if you're not looking for it. But the food... the amazing service... SO great! My beef goulash was so tender and delicious, and the butter rice was perfect to go with it. The baklava dessert was a sugary dream come true. Servers were very attentive, friendly, and kind. A very sweet chef even came out and made sure our food was good once it was delivered. All for very reasonable prices! My first taste of Bosnian cuisine was here, and I do not regret it at all!

Wow we were so disappointed! We had seen the DD&D episode and were excited to try it. We ordered the goulash and the chicken paprika. Both were boring and underseasoned. Basically just meat with gravy over rice. Really bland. Bread was stale and cold. We spent a month in Tucson and this was our worst dinner by far. There are a ton of way better restaurants in the area!

Greeted by the chef/owner. He made recommendations and we followed his suggestions. Goulash and chicken paprika. Food was excellent. First time trying Bosnian food. Will look for more Bosnian restaurants in our travels/and at home. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience.
