This review is for the Cheesiest Pub andGrub Food Truck at E Lake and Stetson - behind the Prudential Building... I swung by today looking for lunch and saw this truck. It by far was the busiest of the 3 in the area serving speciality grill Cheese sandwiches. Don’t let the simple menu fool you. The sandwiches are great! Pricing is in the ballpark of a food truck meal. The line was a little long, but it did move at a good pace. The tater tots are great too. I didn’t get the cheese but I bet that makes them really good . The sandwich alone was enough for lunch and with the tots it will hold you till dinner for sure . The guys were friendly and efficient and called out the names well. I had the Tenderizer that is in the photos Looks like they have a sandwich for most tastes if you look at the menu. If you like grill cheese - and speciality sandwiches this is your stop! I will return!

People say you need to get cheesies as a "last bar of the night" type of treat. I say stop into cheesies after hopping off the L train and grab a sandwich instead of waiting for the bus. Yoli is an amazing bartender and really makes you feel welcome! I always order the tenderizer and add Mac and cheese to the sandwich!

This place is the bomb dot com. Prices are reasonable, the grilled cheeses blew my mind. The music was awesome and the place just had a cool vibe. Definitely a must go spot in the neighborhood!

I got the frenchie it was ok, too much bread. Mac&cheese bites were the best. Good for late night eats

Definitely a great spot for a solid sandwich and fried appetizers. It's nothing fancy, but it's delicious. The bartender was sweet, and poured proper drinks. The music was a little too loud, but we enjoyed our time.

Cheesie's is amazing. It's a restaurant that seems to have tapped into nostalgia through it's comfort food menu, it's arcade games, and it's chalkboard tables. It's a grown up, elevated experience of what for many were childhood hallmarks. There is a bar as well. On Mondays they host a Geeks Who Drink trivia quiz if you are into that. Also, it's location is conveniently right off Belmont Red, Brown, and Purple Line stop.

Food here is amazing and I wish I could rate just that but I dined in on two separate occasions and unfortunately both times I had the same male server who has an attitude issue. He scoffs at every thing, for example he rolls his eyes at you when you ask which champagnes are available (as if I'm supposed to know what is still in stock) he rolls his eyes and says the two on the menu with an attitude. To be clear this is the younger gentleman who works weekends with a red/orange beard. If you dont want to work there then don't but you shouldnt make it your customers problem. I wish management would sit down and chat with him, because I wont be sitting in there as long as he's serving.

At-N was spectacular and so friendly. He guided us on what we wanted from the extensive menu, as well and apps, desserts and drinks. We were here quite late (4AM) and he was still very warm and took the time to explain the menu. He was awesome and the reason we ordered. Will come again!

Cheesie’s wasn’t the best food I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t bad. I really like all the arcade games and the atmosphere.

I've always experienced good food and great service here. A few nights ago, bartender Spencer really went above and beyond during an unfortunate incident involving another customer. Thank you so much for (once again) making this my favorite joint in Chicago.

Feels like a Chicago staple at this point. Food was incredible, staff was super sweet. I wasnt used to the restaurant build but I figured it out pretty quick. Bar style which is interesting. Generally happy overall

Sandwich side is good, pizza side could use a bit of work. Bartenders always seem like they don't wanna be there. :(
